Sorry good catch. 6 Losing seasons straight and not one since tepper took over should be the proper language. Tepper didn't buy us until 2018 so he's attached from that point on. 2015 was our last winning season.

We have had 6 losing seasons straight under tepper and his guidance. Sorry but I don't necessarily feel optimistic that we are heading in the right direction. It almost feels like that era was our peak at times. But here's to hoping for more.

Yeah that's fair, always thought Chuds offense was one of the better that we had during those years. The defense was really the problem at that time. Cam didn't light the world on fire but he did manage 2 tds a game and at least 250 total yards per game. Which was solid, with the ability to go off in games. He was inconsistent at times. I'm speaking more on his competitive nature, the ending of his career wasn't what it shouldve been though.

Yeah I mean that's fair enough. We definitely had the talent for Back to Back winning seasons. We did win the division back to back. But that's setting the bar low. Either way, we were very competitive in most games during their era and in most every game. Alot of losses fell on coaching.

So your telling me there were no doubts surrounding Cam? They all questioned whether or not he would be good in the pocket. No one questioned his ability to throw but more so the ability to scan and play from the pocket. What's not true about that?

That's fair. But a well rounded team is what it will take to do anything worthwhile in this league. Unfortunately, you can't have one without the other and expect to be any good. Trading one of the two for picks definitely seems like something worth looking into though. But who knows, could end up with Jaycee Horn and never get more than 10 games. It's all a clusterfug

When I typed their names together it seemed like a super-powered legal team that sues guys like John Gruden for racial slurs in emails and makes millions doing it. But then I got to thinking, can we afford to put them on retainer? Could that be why we are playing hard ball with Burns? I mean we have got to sign these guys don't we? Otherwise Everytime we enter the court room we will gan ran through. Which leads to the next question, can we give them top pay for the position and build a complete roster around them?

We all need to take a deep breath our defense will keep us in this game..only reason ATL scored is bc a mistake by Bryce. Which is bound to happen at times this season. We are in this one.

It's amazing what someone will do for a million or two go ahead and give that man what he wants and a bonus on top for every sack this game. Let's hope he keeps this intensity all year we could be talking about how we have the best DE in the league again.

Not going to lie, I'm a little surprised we had thielen on the field. He's the vet. You know he's making the roster and your already thin. Why risk him too? I know Reich wanted to see some movement from the offense. But questionable personnel decision there.

I mean I'm not going to lose sleep we have just been bad for to long at this point. But I still expected more.

I think we have to see an improvement over last year or the hype around this coaching staff is for not. Ive always felt for you to be successful you need good football sense and talent. And on paper we have done both. So anything Equal to or worse than last year gives me serious concern.

Why does everyone think you need a Justin Jefferson or Davante Adams for a QB to be successful. They said that about Derrick Carr too, like 4 different times and he was still the same guy. It's nice, but a well designed offense with a Great OL does far more than one stud WR.

Not defending the word hater. I'm defending burns. You obviously missed the context. Those advocating to trade burns think the trade value was greater than the value of Burns himself. And in my biased opinion, I disagree. That's the point of a debate on a topic isn't it?

It's only a stale take to those who take the good in what they have for granted and paint it as a "grass is greener" answer. The grass always gets greener where you water it. And under no circumstances would trading the only semblance of a pass rush we have, for a what if would be good for this team. Retaining burns is a priority. Surrounding him with help on the other edge is equally as Important. Your only stating this as if your coming from a stand point of logic. And logically your argument is flawed. A hater isn't a useless word, it's trendy, or another way of saying cynic or a doubter. Some who has a strong dislike towards someone or something. And I think you should admit that, at least, you don't believe in burns as a long term option.

The real thing we are looking over is just how good that defense was. Paired with an almost unstoppable run-game we were a very hard team to beat. We controlled the clock and you really had to beat us upfront to win against our defense. This sport has 3 phases, and while we may be close or maybe slightly better offensively, can we say the same for defense and special teams? That defense was one of the best of the last few decades in the entire league.

Waiting for you to stop whining and complaining bc people are cool with a wait and see approach rather than throw a child like tantrum over a middle round trade.
