Oh God...Will it be talent Evaluator...
-
If I remember Eli wasn't really doing much here. He had an injury which he felt he couldn't play on, but Rhule and the training staff here thought he could, or something. They thought he was milking the injury (I dunno). Kind of what Antonio Brown claimed about Arians and the Bucs. I cant remember where I read that.... Anyway Apple is playing better now than he was here, and He's going to the Sb while Rhule (and most of the rest of us) will be watching it at home..

What is Rhule going to give up for Jimmy G?
Michael G replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I doubt we pay for Jimmy G. I think we go cheap if we can. Macadoo was the OC when Minshew was drafted by and started for Jacksonville. We kicked the tires on a trade for him last year. it would not surprise me. -
I guess McDaniels and the Raiders are official.

Pickett skipped Hand Measurement part of Senior bowl!!
Michael G replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
The "extra exercises" mentioned in the report wont help his measurement. I tried that too. In fact (according to my Grandpa) its why I'm blind..... -
That's right. I forgot. I think he sprained his ankle. I'm not sure how bad the sprain was. I think he went out on a cart though...
-
Its a really good hire IMO. I am surprised the Texans let him go. Maybe he will bring out some toughness in our OL.
-
Most of these guys are playing in different games like the Senior Bowl--to get more attention and access. Corral is the only one who isn't. I guess he is confident in his tape against SEC defenses.
-
The only thing we did well offensively was the first drive plays near the end of the year. Those first dozen or so scripted plays usually led to our offense moving down the field and scoring (or at least being in position to do so). Besides this one (+) I really can say our coaches didn't do much right at all. No Half-time adjustments, and no in-game adjustments that made sense. Overall our situational football was very poor and situational football really depends on having coaches who make good adjustments. We do not have that currently IMO.

Being aggressive in free agency and trades wins.
Michael G replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
You need to be able to draft well, but also build the team through smart moves in FA. Evaluation and coaching are still critical though. If you are improving your talent (whether by draft or By FA) its gonna improve your team. People in charge need to make good choices on value and production. Sometimes FA moves will benefit more than draft picks, but other times the young, talented players may have more value that those on the FA market or trade Block. The key is the people making those decisions for your team and how the pieces that are gained fit. Either way decent QB play is a must to win. An imposing OL and DL will really help too. -
I agreed with everyone thing you said until you mentioned Maslow...

it seems TB doesn't want to confirm or deny at this point.

Kelley's tape looks good. He gets through his reads and has good touch and a strong arm, His delivery is too long though, I noticed that too. It takes the ball awhile to get out of his hand.

Jeff Fisher and Marvin Lewis are the HC's. Wade Phillips is listed as one of the DC's

This kid from Coastal fit what i said earlier. Another big back--seems to run with more power
-
Ive liked this kid. We could use a bigger back with a little wiggle.
-
Almost all the QBs in this game have looked decent. A lot of good effort.
-
He's a small school kid. Alabama A&M I think. I've heard his name thrown around as a late round option.
-
Oh...Wait ..I think I have an official announcement JKing
-
He's a huge kid for a QB. I don't know much about him either. Hopefully this gives kids like him a chance to show what they can do if front of people who matter.

Who will be worst team in NFC south next season
Michael G replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its probably going to be the Carolina Bears -
There is an interesting mix of talent on the rosters. A bunch of small school stars and big school players without a lot of hype. Most of these guys have a lot to prove, It gives them a good chance to get in front of NFL scouts kind of like the Senior Bowl. It should be a great event.

Here is Rapaport's take--the latest I see
