  1. I don’t disagree. I would move Moton to the left and start these two. Couldn’t hurt. Think Sam was hit 10 times today. Sacked 4
  2. I beg to differ. We played a good football team. The over reactions here are crazy. We fell in quicksand in the 3rd and couldn’t get out for a quarter. If anything we needed this to see what we need to work on and humble everybody a little bit. We will beat Philly, watch and see. We are a 9 to 10 win team.
  3. Need to shuffle the OL like yesterday. It’s terrible, Sam won’t last the season with this group.
  4. If this isn’t a wake up call to put Moton at LT and shuffle the line idk what is. I really hope our offseason consists of nothing but OL.
  5. Low scoring contrary to everyone’s belief. Carolina-19 Dallas-17 Dak throws for less than 200 yds. Throws 2 picks. Sacked 3 times. Darnold throws 1TD 1INT
  6. I would just like to throw out there that McCarthy caught a lot of flack for having a stale offense that became easy to figure out. So give that time. To add onto that our Secondary Coach and Defensive Pass Game Coordinator (Jason Simmons) was with McCarthy his last few seasons in Green Bay. You better believe he is pouring his tendencies out to Phil Snow and the DBs.
  7. My guess is most of the draft is going to the O-Line and probably at least 1 major FA signing this year.
  8. So that gives us: Jackson Bouye Henderson Taylor Thomas-Oliver and Elder on the PS. Not bad.
  9. Keep in mind Corn Elder is on PS too likely to be activated when Horn goes to IR. 1. Jackson 2. Bouye 3. Melvin 4. Taylor 5. Thomas-Oliver 6. Elder
  10. I think this could easily turn into a trap game. However I think the Panthers win 28-20. I think Davis Mills does better than expected. But the pressure on him slows the offense down in the second half and the Panthers hold the Texans off. -I think Darnold throws 3 TDs 1 INT. CMC runs in the other one. (Arnold, Moore, Marshall) -Panthers sack mills 3 times and pick him off once. (Bouye) -I think Gonzalez hits all 4 XPs but misses a field goal. -I think Brandon Zylstra has a big play. -Alex Erickson fumbles a punt return. -We lose another lineman (like I predicted last week and got pooed for it even though Eflein went down and I was right)
  11. We went stale in the 2nd half again on offense, that’s going to end up catching up with us. Early in the 4th we should have been working on trying to get the run game going and killing clock instead of dumping and dinking 3-5yd passes
  12. Yeah give the rock to Royce Freeman on the goal line.
  13. See that’s better. That’s a post I can appreciate. I feel like I could see exactly that on TV Sunday.
  14. 90% sure it’s the PJ Walker guy. He’s got multiple accounts.
  15. Because I’ve followed the Panthers for 26 years. 28 if you count the announcement in Charlotte. I owned PSLs for 18 of those years. I have forgotten more Panthers football than you will ever learn. And I’m analyzing this game with a clear brain, not like a 13 year old whose on his 2nd season and likely a bandwagon fan of one or two players. The Panthers may win, who knows but from a logical stand point it doesn’t look that way, and I’m not going to trick myself into some Cinderella story daydream some fantasy outcome because I want them to win.
  16. Thread is for predictions, not wants or fantasy land. Blame me for being a realist. Name a season we didn’t have 1-2 season ending injuries early on.
  17. Everyone picking the Panthers by a blow out or last minute drive in this thread are the same people that spend all their money on scratch offs and do them at the cashier counter.
  18. Saints: 21 Panthers: 17 Panthers score 14 unanswered but can’t come back in time. Panthers pick off Winston once, only sack twice. Kamara becomes the Panthers kryptonite. Eberle goes 1/3 on FGs. Darnold throws 2 TD 1 INT; Looks terrible until the 4th and gets comfortable. TDs go to Arnold/McCaffrey Panthers have a significant season ending injury.
  19. https://www.google.com/amp/s/saintswire.usatoday.com/2021/09/15/nfl-week-2-referees-ron-torbert-saints-vs-panthers/amp/ Apparently this ref group loves some penalties. Not sure how to feel about it. Saint’s beat writer seems excited about it, games Ron Torbet has reffed’ for the Saints they have went 5-2 in.
  20. Would he have left Baylor for Carolina for the same amount of money? Why did he spend the majority of his career at the NCAA level never seeking NFL employment? He spent 1 year in NY and went back to the NCAA. Marty and Tepper went after him not the other way around.
  21. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.si.com/nfl/panthers/.amp/gm-report/could-matt-rhule-be-a-target-for-usc I’ve said since day one he took this job with the mindset to leave once a big program job in the NCAA came available. I really think his heart is in NCAA football. Say this season is below expectations would he go back to the college level like Saban? What kind of wrench would that throw into this rebuild.
