Carolina Panthers HC's - Winning % Through First Two Seasons
Cdparr7 replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Will be around tree fiddy -
I’m telling you guys, IF he does leave it’ll be for ND. He knows he won’t make it in the SEC. Plus the whole atmosphere fits Rhule. He would go there.

Looking ahead to this offseason *Warning* Not for the Weak Stomach

Was looking at the betting odds of Rhule taking the ND job, what’s this about tension with the front office? -

Watson isn’t going to help anything if we can afford to put an OL in front of him. I like the idea of putting Cam on a 2 yr deal and drafting Kenny Pickett. Smooth transition and still have money to put a OL out there -

You also got to remember that if we cut Elf and Erving that frees up some money. Also offloading McCaffrey or Anderson would give us more money if we can find somebody to take the contract. May have to take less in the trade though. The cap increase is expected to sky rocket from the new TV deal and the recoup from the covid market last year. Good chance we have somewhere around 55 million or so and if we are lucky a couple extra picks from cutting dead weight. -

I would be optimistic about Pickett -
Yeah I forgot about that. I just remember the hype around bringing the 49ers offense here when he was hired.
-
I remember them saying it was for Collins development and yadda yadda. Collins didn’t blow me out of the water in 96. We would have had the same or better results with Beuerlein that year, he played great.

Wouldn’t be against it. Still an Eberflus guy. Call me superstitious Capers-Defensive Guy-Playoffs/Division title Seifert-Offensive Guy- No playoffs Fox- Defensive guy-3 times playoffs/2 division titles Rivera-Defensive guy-4 times playoffs/2 division titles Rhule- Offensive guy- poo show Our “identity” Rhule has been trying to find for 2 years now is what it’s always been. Defense and running the damn rock.

Lookin like no one wants Rhule

Ah damn. I’d like to see Venables get a shot at it. Would be a fit -
I’ll never understand why there were concerns about Slaters arm being too short but nobody caring that Deonte Brown’s ass and belly is 4 axe handles wide.

If Rhule did leave it would be for the ND job. He would not be a fit at OU at all. -
So don’t know if this was already posted but haven’t seen it anywhere. Apparently LR got: 110 mil over 6 years (18.3 mil/yr) A home in LA purchased for 6 million His current homes purchased 24/7 usage for him and his family to fly on USCs private get. BK got: 15 mil per year. Rhule only makes 8.5 million. ... Don’t “Rhule” out college.

Dane Brugler Mock Draft 1.0 (from The Athletic)

I don’t think it’s a money thing as much as it’s a image thing. I don’t think Tepper wants to look stupid and wants to be patient. I think he would spend twice the money today if he knew it was the right choice and wouldn’t get chastised by every talking head on TV that needs something to talk about in the off season.

It’s good to see a Mr. Scot thread. Hackett would be good but I think Daboll or Eberflus are safe bets.
