So it begins. Meanwhile, we are sitting over here trying to get our injury report right and playing Sam Darnold some more. Not saying we should hire Pederson but we still have this clown in our next coach’s office.

Here’s my two cents for what it’s worth. Joe Brady was out of Rhule’s “comfort zone”. What top 5 coordinator or staff member are you going to get that fits his comfort zone. Because he if don’t buy into the system Rhule is going to crap all over him. Not only that but he’s going to be looking over his shoulder wondering if he’s hiring his replacement. I think you just got to get somebody with NFL experience. It doesn’t have to be a former HC but somebody whose spent a considerable amount of time in the NFL, and can bring in assistants from multiple teams. This also allows them to have connections to many more players and coaches through the league. We don’t have that because most of our staff came with Rhule.

They are going to put up numbers in the 40s. It’s gonna be like a 44-14 kind of game.

Santoso is on Rams PC, Ammendola is on Jets PC, Chris Naggar is on Cleveland PC, he’s not too awful.

Yes that is what I heard. My sources aren’t what they used to be. I would put my eggs into the basket that Rhule is gone. If not in the next two weeks, end of the season. Don’t think he’s going to be around next year but what I have isn’t 100%.

So here we are the final 3 games. The way I see it is if Rhule isn’t terminated this week or next, he will be with us next season. Just doesn’t seem like we wait until the 10th and allow other teams to have their “pick of the litter”. 19-Dec @ Buffalo (loss) 26-Dec VS Tampa (TBD) 2-Jan @ NO (TBD) 9-Jan @ Tampa (TBD) December 28th is the day that teams can start requesting interviews IF their HC is not employed or informed he will not be here next season. There are already 2 (JAX, LV) that need HCs and likely a few more seeing their end Monday. (CHI, HOU, Possibly MIN, CLE, NYG)

I don’t have the sources I used to but somebody I do know told me last week he will be terminated this week or next. The issue is determining the interim replacement.

Morgan more than Fitterer. He’s been a part of Panthers culture. He knows what our identity is and knows the fanbase. He would build a stout 4-3 / power running team.

He wants him to do well for his sake but it’s not his guy. No way in hell I believe it was Rhule’s idea. Somebody, likely Tepper had the idea and was like tell me why it’s bad idea and he couldn’t. But I also feel like the move was solely to put people in the stands and not hemorrhage money.

I have a hunch it’s going to play out one of 3 ways IF Rhule is fired. A) Terminated Monday. This gives them a week to line up interviews for the 28th. And let’s the team adjust with a following home game. B)Terminated after the Bucs home game next Monday which gives them 2 days to line up interviews roughly. C)Terminated at the end of the season to avoid looking like an impatient owner and giving him the full season. If he’s still here after the home game against the Bucs he will be here til January 11th. I think a bad loss to Buffalo, and a bad home loss to the Bucs Christmas weekend will be enough, and they will start lining up interviews that week.
