He will be 29 next season- about the same age as Kuechly when he retired. Thomas Davis lasting as long as he did was an anomaly and partly due to him not taking hits on his body for 3 years due to his ACL issues.

Most people on the board are aware of Shaq’s age and financial burden on the team. Trading him or cutting him makes sense this off-season. Especially with Luvu, Smith, and whoever we may bring in with draft capital we may acquire for him. What would be a good deal for Shaq? YGM has never really turned into the Mike Rucker people thought he would be. (Look at his production and 46.5 PFF grade). Edge rushers are valuable, especially young ones with rookie contracts. What kind of compensation do you think the Panthers would get for YGM?

Elflein, Derrick Brown, Gross-Mayos (Who is horrible btw), Shaq, Tremble, Chuba, and the Baylor/Temple depth players

Pass Blocking, not total grade. y’all should see Motons run grade for the season. It’s like 46 but his pass grade is mid 70s.

When I think of the Panthers, I think of a good TE and MLB. We haven’t had either in years.

Sounds like Scott Fitterer will continue as Panthers GM in '23
Cdparr7 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I really don’t know why people want to keep anything that has to do with this regime. It’s one of the darkest parts of our franchise history. I think the best thing for the team is to clean house from the GM office to the coaching staff, and build up as much cap and draft capital as we can. I think people are just shell shocked because we had a bad rebuild with incompetent people. -
It’s not that bad. We just need: -A head coach, new coaching staff, a franchise QB, a RB since we are probably trading McCaffrey, a Tight End, an X receiver, a Y receiver, a fullback, a middle linebacker, a pass rushing DE since we might trade Burns, a run stopping DE, and a nickel corner. And maybe a Will Linebacker if Shaq goes. But that’s it and we are golden.

Any Panthers card collectors out there? Mail Day!

I had a Drew Carter autographed rookie card. I really thought it was going to be something. -

It’s pure speculation at this point but it makes too much sense with their history in Buffalo. People like Fitterer because of the trades, but when you have Marty Hurney for 2 decades it’s hard to not like the next guy. Besides, what has Fitt really done? He doesn’t get any of the blame for the cap mess and wasted capital? Matt Rhule had him in a chicken wing with his head pressed against the monitor making him make the deals? No. Dorsey is a control freak if you can’t tell from how he handles himself on the field and in interviews. Those personalities gravitate towards people they are familiar with. -
PJ Walker on Robbie leaving or live ping pong coverage?

I hope the next head coach takes a sledge hammer to it. -

I’ll bet a month’s salary if Dorsey comes down, Fitt’s days are numbered and Morgan will be GM. -
I think Tepper sees it as a win-win. Wilks does great and makes chicken salad out of chickenshit then great, he has a HC. Wilks can’t pull it together and show the improvement he had vested in Matt, he can go get his HC and he helps the NFL out in the process with their lawsuit because Wilks will have even more of a losing record. Just my opinion.

Just Sitting Here, Hitting Refresh
Cdparr7 replied to Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D.'s topic in Carolina Panthers
They will sit on CMC and Burns until they get what they want. Robbie is probably gone this week -
I agree. Outside of QB. We are missing a real MLB, DE and TE. We were spoiled all those years with Walls and Olsen. I would take Jeff King over these current TEs. We never had a real MLB either under this regime. Beason, Morgan, Kuechly, etc, are miles away from Whitehead and this rotation of Wilson/Littleton. We have Burns at DE but he is more of a pass rusher, we don’t have that run stopping DE like in years past. YGM is shaping out to be a bust.

The offense is what kills me. Spend the first 40 minutes of the game with zone runs, screens, bubbles, and RPOs and then once we are down 7-10 points we start stretching the field. Just about every game this season has been that way.

Jacob Eason… Come on down. Thoughts on his limited play?’

49’ of his 59 yards came from CMC YAC. -

Predict when Robbie Anderson is Traded or Released.
Cdparr7 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
He’s gone in the next 24 hours. CMC is gone before Friday. -
Young’s size worries me about his durability. I like Stroud more, but he’s a one read QB. If we are sitting on top, I bet they both stay in school. I would bet on Levis, Hooker, or Hartman. I despise Wake Forest but I’ve had this weird feeling for a while now that Sam Hartman is going to have a Panthers uniform.

He seemed very irritated about this because he brought it up multiple times but kept saying that’s not a reason you let a coach go. Then proceeded to talk about it again. Sounds like it struck a nerve of his

Nixon might hang out but Cooper is probably gone. Lombardi needs to get the hell out of town out of merit. He should be ashamed of himself.

Ryan or god forbid Nixon

And maybe Foley

Waiting on Evan Cooper next

I meant to follow Rhule. Snow probably won’t follow him, Cooper will to be DC.
