    Can’t really blame Baker. Stupid move unless you are tanking (which they consistently say they aren’t ) PJ is still PJ, take away the DJ Moore Touchdown and I’m not sure he got the start against Cinci. Baker came in and ideally would be the hot hand. Really strange decision.

    About the same. They have some garbage contracts, no QB, and a mediocre OL. We have a dead cap, no QB, and a mediocre OL. Both defenses have some key pieces.

    Had Matt Moore finished the season we would have picked in the 4-7 range most likely and Cam wouldn’t have been a Panther and our entire history would have been altered. I will die on the hill that Matt Moore’s shoulder injury drastically changed this franchise’s trajectory.

    Little bit of a conspiracy theory here, but with him being from Charlotte, I almost wonder if he agreed to man this sinking ship on the condition to get retained as DC or something. He is on the lawsuit, says they aren’t tanking, but all of his actions seem to be otherwise.

    I compared him because of Ohio State and the system they run. 1 read QBs. I believe a stat came out recently that over 70% of the throws from Stroud are first reads. I would actually argue that Lawrence is well ahead of Fields.

    Point of this thread is you don’t have to tank the season away to get a good QB because it’s usually a crapshoot anyways.

    Young and Stroud aren’t it either. Young is going to be more fragile than Tua and Stroud is Haskins/Fields 2.0. I personally think Hooker is best in this class but he’s 26 or so already and not a Franchise QB.

    A #1 pick doesn’t seem to do much justice unless you have a Luck or Newton in the draft- which there clearly isn’t this season.

    Yeah since we have all the “all-stars” in this years draft. Didn’t you know? They just want a QB and think anyone they pick in the top 10 will be Andrew Luck or Patrick Mahomes
