I trade back and take Robinson or some other skill guy and use my 2nd on Hooker with a bridge QB. Levis, Young, or Stroud by some miracle at 9 I would take them.

You took off totally in the wrong direction with my comment. I don’t know where you are cherry picking your comments from but I don’t see any of that on Twitter. My point in bringing in the fans perspective was to share what they thought of their QB as a new team would look at our comments if they inherited Sam. I also see you completely dodge the other points regarding him missing games, never having a full season, not having an agent, and the wear and tear that’s accumulated on his body. Instead you jump on the most subjective portion of the post that you can cherry pick to fit your narrative.

They better get this pick right, whatever they do. To pass on Carr, Jackson, Rodgers, Garoppolo, etc and give up multiple 1st rounders to draft a guy that flops will be the ultimate cherry on top to Tepper’s ownership.

I see a lot of Sam’s good side in him when he makes good plays. When he gets in a rut and makes mistakes, he doesn’t spaz like Darnold does. Sam will have a total nervous breakdown and run around like a rogue roomba until he finds a guy in triple coverage to throw it to and that’s where he is the whole game after. Levis just makes a bad play and shakes it off.

I kinda view the combine the same as the wonderlic. People use to poo all over it because “it just means how good you are at taking test, not how smart somebody is”. Well to me the combine is just a physical test, no pads, opposing sides, game situations. So it’s kind of the same thing. So if you are going to go all in on combine results, make the wonderlic public too and give it the same credit. Really the tape is the best thing to examine IMO because it actually shows what people do and how they react and perform in game situations.

The gripe among Ravens fans is that he has missed 11 games the last two years and has never played a full season in 5 years. He’s only getting older and his style of play takes a toll on his body. (plus the whole getting sick every year thing) Cam was much bigger and by 27-28 you started seeing wear. I think he was 27 when he had his first shoulder surgery. Plus you have a lot of Ravens fans that think he doesn’t fully invest in himself on prep and health whether there is merit to it or not, if that’s how he is while trying to earn a contract, imagine how he is when every dollar is guaranteed.

I think he runs similar to Stevenson in NE. I hope we look his direction.
