See that’s better. That’s a post I can appreciate. I feel like I could see exactly that on TV Sunday.

90% sure it’s the PJ Walker guy. He’s got multiple accounts.

Because I’ve followed the Panthers for 26 years. 28 if you count the announcement in Charlotte. I owned PSLs for 18 of those years. I have forgotten more Panthers football than you will ever learn. And I’m analyzing this game with a clear brain, not like a 13 year old whose on his 2nd season and likely a bandwagon fan of one or two players. The Panthers may win, who knows but from a logical stand point it doesn’t look that way, and I’m not going to trick myself into some Cinderella story daydream some fantasy outcome because I want them to win.

Thread is for predictions, not wants or fantasy land. Blame me for being a realist. Name a season we didn’t have 1-2 season ending injuries early on.

Everyone picking the Panthers by a blow out or last minute drive in this thread are the same people that spend all their money on scratch offs and do them at the cashier counter.

Saints: 21 Panthers: 17 Panthers score 14 unanswered but can’t come back in time. Panthers pick off Winston once, only sack twice. Kamara becomes the Panthers kryptonite. Eberle goes 1/3 on FGs. Darnold throws 2 TD 1 INT; Looks terrible until the 4th and gets comfortable. TDs go to Arnold/McCaffrey Panthers have a significant season ending injury.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/saintswire.usatoday.com/2021/09/15/nfl-week-2-referees-ron-torbert-saints-vs-panthers/amp/ Apparently this ref group loves some penalties. Not sure how to feel about it. Saint’s beat writer seems excited about it, games Ron Torbet has reffed’ for the Saints they have went 5-2 in.

Would rather have Snow than Brady

He interviewed with the Jets once.

Would he have left Baylor for Carolina for the same amount of money? Why did he spend the majority of his career at the NCAA level never seeking NFL employment? He spent 1 year in NY and went back to the NCAA. Marty and Tepper went after him not the other way around.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.si.com/nfl/panthers/.amp/gm-report/could-matt-rhule-be-a-target-for-usc I’ve said since day one he took this job with the mindset to leave once a big program job in the NCAA came available. I really think his heart is in NCAA football. Say this season is below expectations would he go back to the college level like Saban? What kind of wrench would that throw into this rebuild.

Wait so Zane can’t kick for us for 3 weeks since he came off Detroit’s PS? And Eberle can’t be elevated for 4 weeks? Did I understand that right? So whose kicking this week?

I think we are going to pressure Winston and frustrate him and he’s going to make some mistakes. On the other side they are going to pressure Darnold all day and depending how he responds to that will be whether we win or not. I think we will hold the Saints to right around 20 points. The key will be whether our Offense can out perform that because I think our Defense will do it’s job.

No he came back once before and then left again and now he’s back.

Jesus. This guy is like herpes.

Lattimore to have surgery on his thumb

Isn’t that supposed to say against the Packers yesterday not Bucs Monday night? Not trying to be funny just making sure I didn’t get that drunk yesterday. -
Bouye is also out until the Houston game. So what do we do about Nickel? Put Jackson at Nickel and STO/Taylor on the outside? Or let Sean Chandler play Nickel?
-
Paradis isn’t that bad, he just craps the bed at critical times.
-
He went 2/2 on FGs and 1/2 on XPs on his first start. Calm down. XPs aren’t from the 2 yard line anymore.
-
Good news is I don’t think he’s going anywhere either. He and Rhule are attached at the hip and he’s 65 so not many teams are going to invest time into a 65 year old dude with no HC experience. Looks like he’s ours until he retires or we fire Rhule.

Question for you 50 years plus folk (and others)?

I’m not a big Tepper fan. I like how he’s trying to pull us out of the 1700s but I’m not sure his vision and decisions are going to lead to a championship. I think his mark on the franchise will be the modernization of the franchise. New HQ, New stadium, etc. -
My guess is Erving and Daley

Panthers 24 Jets 10 *Wilson gets sacked 5 times-Darnold twice *Santoso goes 1/2 on FGs *Darnold throws 1 TD 1 INT *Wilson gets picked twice. (Thompson/Jackson) *2 people on the Panthers OL go down.

ESPN Analytics' simulation. You're not gonna like it...maybe

No way we are worse than Eagles, Bengals, Texans and Falcons this year. We won 5 games last year with Teddy Two Gloves, No McCaffrey and Tahir Whitehead. We are 5th overall pick at worst. We will fall somewhere between 14th-20th.
