This overstocked DB room is capital for Fit when draft time comes around. Regardless of how much money we have, we aren’t going to have Jackson, Gilmore, Horn, Henderson, and Bouye. Remember we still have Thomas-Oliver, Taylor, and Pride on rookie contracts. Plus there is this strange love for Melvin and Hartsfield that I don’t get.

I would counter that and say Jackson will be the odd man out. Bouye may have a better chance of staying because he will be cheaper. Melvin and the other scrubs are prob gone.

The answer to #3 is TJ Watt. Cam’s shoulder was fine in 2018 until Watt destroyed it with his helmet. His arm wasn’t right after that and got worse through the season. Still think that should have been looked into more. They basically lied for 6 games saying his shoulder was fine, then when Cam was like “no it wasn’t “ they were like “gasp, we didn’t know”. Still say we would have made the playoffs that year if we started Allen or Heineke sooner. Would have at least won the Saints game.

Yeah pretty much. We could resign Bouye as well. Letting Jackson go would still leave us Horn, Henderson, Bouye, Taylor, Pride, Thomas-Oliver, Hartsfield. I would trade Jackson for a decent O-Line.

Yeah I think we are still finding things out. I say by November we will have a better understanding of who we are. We have 4 more games in October, by the Atlanta game on Halloween things will be more clear. We will be somewhere between 3-5 and 7-1.

With everyone so much in the dumpster today just wanted to bring up some positives. 1. We scored more points than we have all season today. 2. Darnold had 4TDs giving him 10 total for the season and over 1200 total yds. 3. Chuba averaged 4.5 ypc and Rodney Smith looked decent as well. 4. Zane went 4/4 on XP and his miss was 2yds from his career long. 5. MOST IMPORTANTLY: no major injuries. We have the Eagles, Vikings, Giants, Falcons next.

Problem I seen was we had edge pressure but had nothing up the middle. We have been having success because the QB can’t step up in the pocket. Dak was able to avoid Burns, Reddick and Fox by stepping up cause Jones, Nixon and Brown were getting pushed off the ball.
