I just want an expansion team to the Carolina’s with an owner whose name isn’t David Tepper. Maybe the Navarro guy who bid against him could.
-
Yeah but we still need to pay a WR, some DL help, and somebody reliable at CB since ours can’t make it through half a season each.
-
What do we gotta do to get an expansion team? I’ll buy PSLs again.

19/39 195 yards 1 TD, 2 INT

Which " NFL Team" would you want your next GM groomed from?!

I’m fine with Morgan or Wilson, -
That or they are okay with whoever gets emergency snaps. It used to be DJ Moore. I think it's Johnny Hekker now.

Ellis posted on Twitter last night our personnel groupings so far this season. 11 Personnel (1TE 3WR)- 187 plays (92.1%) 12 Personnel (2TE 2WR)- 10 plays (4.9%) 01 Personnel (1 TE 4 WR)- 6 plays (3.0%) Talk about some fuging garbage. 92% in one personnel grouping. I'm not even mad that we haven't ran 21 and 22 personnel (even though that is what our OL is built for) since we are in the West Coast Spread, but for god's sake can we switch up personnel groupings just a little more. Hell throw in a 10 or 13 personnel or something.

This Team Has Been Hamstrung for Several Years

I have more hope in Mingo than I ever had in Terrace Marshall. I called Terrace Marshall "Dwayne Jarrett" after his first season and got like 20 poos on that post. The problem with our fanbase is that we aren't more critical of stupid decisions. We could have drafted Levis at number 1 and the board would have been like "hey let's give this guy a shot, you're being too hard on him" when clearly, he is garbage. Our fans buy into the hype too much then freak out when that player turns out to be trash. We took Bryce and it's pretty clear he isn't the game changer he was hyped up to be and people are freaking out or making up excuses for him. Can he be a good QB? maybe, but everything we know so far points to no. We are too nice of a fanbase and 80% of them don't want to part with players because they think they are cool or "seem like nice guys". -
Can anyone tell me why we went to zone blocking?
Cdparr7 replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah so we ran zone blocking some last year too but it was a little different. McAdoo’s playbook was really centered around vertical runs between the tackles. This consisted of Whams, Traps, Gap-Backer responsibilities, and ISOs. He did mixed in some zone running from time to time. But most of the time he was playing vertical to set up a quick PA read for Darnold or PJ. The run portion of a west coast offense (especially within the spread) utilizes the zone run to create a path to the outside or allows an athletic back to find his own path through the zone lanes that the linemen create. This really helps build your RPO and screen game. You can run more complicated concepts, I actually seen Frank run a couple traps and some Whams against NO. So it’s in the playbook. Short answer, it’s just because Frank wanted that kind of offense. -
Been reading old Indy tweets and looking at stats from his time there. The guy really does start slow. 6-10-1 in September yet 11-5 in December and it’s pretty consistent. Apparently Colts fans complained about the same things: -Undisciplined players -Slow starts -Sloppy football -Random hare brained calls with the game on the line. All of these slowly improve through our the season. His catch phrase on his memes are all “It starts with me” which I’ve already noticed him saying a ton. The Andrew Luck retirement really shell shocked his career from the start, then there is a bunch of blame gaming on QBs that was given to him but it looks like Jonathan Taylor really kept him there the last season or two. And the run offense doesn’t look much different, the OL just plays the zones better and Taylor is a monster. Ton of comments about him being a push over and yes man for the front office.

PFF grades after week 3 (not for the faint of heart)
Cdparr7 replied to Cdparr7's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t think so. The betting line is going to be pretty accurate in this one I think. Been looking at the Vikings all day, they literally only have the Cousins to Jefferson connection which will be 3/4 of their yards. The OL is like ours and the run game isn’t there. Their defense isn’t there at all. If Dalton plays it’s close. I expect a 27-24 or 31-27 type game. If Bryce and his 20 flat routes show up it could get ugly. -
Let’s be honest, you checked out because you can’t get satellite on copperhead road.

PFF grades after week 3 (not for the faint of heart)
Cdparr7 replied to Cdparr7's topic in Carolina Panthers
PFF has a weird formula. If I remember right the score is the net of negative plays and positive plays combined added from zero. So it’s not grading you like a math quiz, it’s how many positives vs negatives and then some other X and Y factors to get the score. Basically he did little to no good with very capable match ups and conditions and it was so one sided he couldn’t push the formula to a positive number. -

Give Nash Jensen a start. I mean at this rate Cade Mays was better than Zavala -

That really worked out well for Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson -
In his head: "I'm nervous" "Please stop asking" "That coffee is going through me" "Not this guy again" "Why is his last name Person?" "Please leave me alone" "Why does my foot hurt?" "David Newton has mustard on his shirt" "I hope nobody seen my coloring book during the meeting" "I need to get milk on the way home" "Milk has really gone up" "God, stop asking about Bryce"

Average time to throw (Spoiler alert: Bryce is 2nd to last)

Got to get the ball out fast in a WC offense. Dalton knows the drill. This isn't Alabama where you have a top 5 OL and you can run around until somebody gets open behind some Vanderbilt DBs. -

He is way out of scheme in this offense. That is his biggest problem. -

We match up well against the Vikings on paper. Seeing which way they go with his "injury" will say a lot about the direction the coaching staff is going with him. -
Yes his average is down to 27 for the season.

We could have literally just had 4 linemen and had an extra skill guy out there and did better. This is almost as bad as Michael Jordan's 7.4 grade or whatever from 2021.
