  1. I would rather have Hurn Dog than Fitterer. Keep in mind I totally resent him but I would still rather have him. Gettleman is about on the same level as Fitterer in my opinion. What we need is the ghost of Bill Polian.
  2. This schedule/This offense? 2-2 with Dalton 1-3 with Sam (Doesn't fit this well) 3-1 with Kyle Allen (This is right up his alley) 1-3 with injured Cam 3-1 with normal Cam 2-2 with Baker (He fits this well)
  3. This is going to be that weird game we win and it gives everyone false hope.
  4. It worked for the Saints after 35 years. Only 29 more to go.
  5. She didn’t even do her required training. Probably a 15 minute slide video with a 4 question quiz.
  6. Both. The offense around him is terrible plus I think he has fallen off a bit.
  7. There was an outside consultant I believe for the last hire. I think it was reported but remained anonymous
  8. I don’t know that he would even take it and taint his HC record. He could probably just wait until the end of year and get a job with a different team, build his own staff, and not have a dumbass GM to deal with.
  9. Yeah I said this in another thread but I got a feeling that if shithead gets canned Tepper either won’t promote Evero or Evero won’t take it. You’ll see some odd ball like Caldwell, McCown or Tabor named interim. Evero is probably getting a HC gig somewhere else next season anyways. I doubt Tepper dismantles the staff at the end of the season though, probably keeps everyone together with the interim guy so there isn’t back to back staff rebuilds.
  10. Daboll got figured out. A lot of their wins last year were close games where the other team shot themselves in the foot and/or the Giants just got lucky.
  11. Frank would have to go damn near winless to get fired. I could see him getting axed if he’s at like 0-12 or something. But I think he would be replaced by somebody on the staff the rest of the year and next year to keep from having to rebuild the staff again. I do have this theory though that Tepper wouldn’t put Evero in as the guy. Even though he’s the obviously choice, I got this feeling he would pick somebody like Chris Tabor, Josh McCown, or Jim Caldwell or Staley causing everyone to be in mass confusion.
  12. I don’t know, I’ve seen some talented rosters with some horrible seasons and vice versa. I look at it more like good coaching gets you X amount of points per game. Like you can have a 14 point roster and 20 point roster, but good coaching can get you that extra 7 points to push you over. Then again you can have a 7 point roster playing a 28 point roster and no matter how good your coaching is you can’t make the difference.
  13. I want to see the throws over the middle 1/3. I would like to see if they were completed over the OL. I feel like they intentionally run zone slide protection to fan out the DL so he can see. This offense should be using man (BOB) protection in this type of offense most of the time. Not being funny about his height, being serious.
  14. Yeah he really just needs to make the move to RB
  15. He’s not big enough to stand in the pocket and make the hard throws. He has to look for lanes in the pocket, roll out, or run screens all day. It’s not really that hard to figure out. He doesn’t have the best arm strength, that combined with not trusting what he is seeing (or can’t see) down field impacts his performance. The scary part is he panics. He had played 3 games, in all 3 games the ball has came flying out when he got touched. I’m pretty sure all 3 instances happened in opponent territory.
  16. Baker wouldn’t be terrible in our offense this year. It’s what he’s used to. Problem is, he couldn’t grasp the timing on what Wilks and Mcadoo changed the offense into. His first couple of weeks, Rhule was trying what Frank is doing now but it was even poorly designed.
  17. Guys in the broadcast were calling out how conservative his play calling was. Commentator: At some point you have to take a shot down the field! Frank Reich: bet
  18. Yeah don’t think so. Was likely something Thielen ran through with the coaches in practice or something they had been building up to during the game based off of what Thielen was doing. (Ex. Calling a sluggo when you been having him run slants in a certain set all day). I do think Bryce is not given permission to change things at the line. I think he is given play X and depending how the defense aligns he kills it and goes to Y. I don’t think he has the staff’s confidence to tweak routes at the line, change motions, or adjust protections in the backfield or anything other than kill the play and run the secondary call. I think Dalton did and that’s why you seen part of what you seen last week, but I also think Dalton wasn’t afraid to take a shot on his more aggressive routes as well.
  19. Yeah this is what tipped me off today that Reich is likely putting the training wheels on Young for whichever reason. In a lot of these offenses they will call two plays, they play and then something to check into. Bryce was killing the play call all game in sounded like, probably to check into something safer. More experienced QBs can audible out different routes from the line by what they see or change up their snap count. I don’t think Frank gives Bryce that much leash to do that. It feels like Reich doesn’t think Bryce can read the defense so he’s like here’s the play, and this is what you do if you get scared.
  20. I low key think she has a few with some players and Tepper likes that stuff.
  21. He held us back in 2018 when he couldn’t throw it further than 5 yards but other than that no he was 50% of the offense
  22. It’s the teams job to give the fans a reason to watch.
