  1. Green Bay over Buffalo. I think it’ll throw a wrench in the whole Rodgers/GB divorce and it’s all we will hear about until spring.
  2. I think it would be cheaper to keep Burns, Haynes, and Luvu as edge rushers. Reddick is going to be in the 16-18 million per year range and we need a MLB, OL and QB. Unless you want to be back here bitching about the OL again next year, he probably needs to go.
  3. Yeah it’s a thought but I think he’s probably cozy where he is, could be wrong. I think on Billy and John’s podcast Billy said he thought Jay Gruden would fit the role as somebody desperate to make an attempt to get back in. It would have to be a Gruden/Garrett type. I don’t think we would be lucky enough for O’Brien at OC and I’m not sure I would want him at HC
  4. Isn’t going to leave for a lame duck season and he’s interviewing for HC in Jacksonville
  5. The safe choice is Nixon for Rhule. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if he got Satterfield back from South Carolina. He is the current OC there and was our assistant OL coach last year. I don’t know if he would want to come back on a lame duck season when they just got Rattler and some other transfers. Gilbride is the dark horse, he’s 70 but was a coordinator before with the Giants.
  6. In my ideal world, Tepper sales the team to Ben Navarro. The stadium gets natural grass back. Keep Pounding gets the recognition it deserves. We keep building the place in Rock Hill but people don’t remember Tepper for it. We promote Dan Morgan to GM and fire Matt Rhule. We hire Hackett, Eberflus, or Pederson. Darnold is kept as a back up due to the contract but we build the OL in free agency and take a QB in the draft.
  7. So you’re going on record, you think it will be an upset?
  8. I know everyone is thinking it won’t happen, but it is a 7 year contract. What happens if we go 5-12 or 6-11 next season and another excuse is bought. How many seasons would it take? 4? 6? I’m personally hoping sources are wrong and the bastard is gone Monday. But surely after another season like this it would be time to move on right?
  9. I hope the bastards lose by 90. And a Tampa Fan ejaculates on Tepper’s car.
  10. We need to get through 2022 without losing any assets. Just fill the off-season full of OL additions. They don’t need to touch the QB position they will destroy it-let the next guy do that.
  11. No this is why it will be Nixon, Satterfield, or Kevin Gilbride. It will one of his cronies.
  12. I’ll be here cause I always have been, I’ve never checked out on a season. 98, 01, 10, I survived and I’ll survive this one. Now, will I look forward to Sunday’s in the fall? No. Will I make plans on the weekend around the game? No. Will I go to any? No.
  13. It’s gonna be a tank season, guys. Tepper is going to sit on assets, let some contracts play out and let him tank. It will give him the opportunity to attract another coach by saying he gave Matt 3 years.
  14. I’m saying from Tepper’s perspective, if I were him I would probably be leaning for him to stay to spare my image. From me, a fan’s perspective who could give a sh*t about Tepper’s reputation he should go.
  15. Before I’m hanged by the Mob let me say this is not my preference but probably how the FO is looking at it. Just saying
  16. To be clear I don’t believe this is the right decision, but the one I think Tepper is going with. I would much rather be looking forward to a new coach if Rhule was fired Monday.
  17. I want this guy fired as much as anyone, but thinking about it from Tepper’s perspective (and ego) keeping Rhule 1 more year makes sense. Not to us fans because it’s clear to us and probably to DT too. -By keeping Rhule 1 more year, Tepper can give him another season to prove himself to the media, and everyone else that Rhule needs to be terminated and he’s not going to be the messiah everyone thought. It also allows Tepper to display he’s not a hot head whose impatient and going to fire the next coach on the spot. -Rhule is almost certainly going to cause the team to crash and burn this season, which guarantees a higher draft pick (and full draft board) it also gives us a throw away season where we can play a ton of young players and allow them to gain experience while giving us another year to unload some of these heavy contracts we have (Darnold, McCaffrey, Anderson) -It allows him to see another year of Fitterer. If Scott isn’t the answer, I could see Tepper letting him go with Rhule and bringing in 2 new guys. -It gives Dave a whole year to eyeball who he wants for the vacancy. As much as I hate to say it, I think Rhule might be sticking around but for the sole purpose to tank next season.
  18. This guy likes to watch people watch tv. Probably got kicked out of Gastonia Walmart for trying to smell people.
