If we go to 3-4 expect Anderson to come back. Guys like him are key to that 4 Technique. We have the edge rushers but need 2 solid ILBs. With Thompson likely a cap casualty and Luvu probably playing the edge opposite Burns there are 2 glaring holes. Will also need a solid Zero Technique. Not exactly Browns ideal spot.

I remember when he coached the Oilers in the 80s fun times. “Shithole teams of the world, unite!”

What I think against what I want.

I wonder about Billy Davis he has some connections to Fangio and Capers. I believe he coached LBs here in the 90s under Capers coaching staff. He is was on Arizona’s staff last year as LB Coach. Edit: Yeah just checked he was LB coach under Fangio here. Guy coached Lathon and Mills

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of Reichs guys got mixed in too.

Stefan LaFors is only 41

I agree, any other year where the need for QB isn’t as strong, Levis is late 1st, Richardson/McKee are in the 3rd round. There are a lot of more teams willing to sell their souls to move up. I don’t think the Panthers are going to be so eager to cripple their new coach by trading 2 firsts, 2 seconds, and a third for a QB. This top 10 is going to get messy.

I feel very strongly about this... Derek Carr.
Cdparr7 replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think they need to make a move for him. Otherwise, they are going to be deciding between drafting McKee or resigning Darnold. There young QBs in the draft will be gone. -
I would like Stroud or Young but the more I look at it, I don’t think the Panthers are going to outbid some of these teams that are in a more desperate situation. You have multiple teams that have a coach/GM or both on the hot seat and will probably give up whatever. (Raiders, Colts, Commanders, Jets, Bucs, Saints, Falcons) So if you look at the Top 5- Bears- No QB/ Could Trade Texans- Need QB Cardinals- No QB/Could Trade Colts-Need QB Seahawks- No QB/Could Trade (If Resign Smith) I think the Texans are staying put, and will take what is left of Stroud or Young. Chicago will trade with a desperate team into 1st. I don’t think it’ll be Carolina. Honestly the Colts could offer the Bears the 4th pick and additional capital, move up into 1st, pick who they want, Texans get their QB. Arizona gets who they want, and Chicago gets who they want at 4. Works for all 4 of them.

Scott Fitterer.... let's grade his drafts and FA signings
Cdparr7 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
You can’t poo on the bad additions and blame Rhule and praise all the good additions as credit to Fitterer. I think he played a bigger hand in the decisions the last couple years than what people think. Guess we will find out this offseason. -
They get the 9th overall, 2nd, 1st and 3rd next year
-
Not sure why ownership reportedly was against Gus Bradley. I wouldn’t mind it. Would be nice to go get Evero if he doesn’t land a HC role. Really don’t want Manuel
-
I will change my line of thinking when I see him throw like an NFL QB
-
Because they are/were both being hyped as 1st round talents when they are truly 3rd/4th round talents.
-
He lives in Columbia and his son plays for the Gamecocks so he may have took the same position to work with Frank again and be closer to home
-
For you clowns comparing him to Lamar
-
He’s garbage just like Malik Willis is. Everyone hyped up Malik like he was the next Lamar and he got benched for a dude who just walked in the building. Yes I can, just like saying you can’t hate Mayfield or Darnold and be a Panthers fan. I don’t hate him but I had to live through it. Literally the entire offense is run 7 times, play action and throw go route. Run 7 times play action and throw deep post. The guy has no short or intermediate game, and when he was in situation he to throw or read the field it was disastrous. Stroud/Young are already more levels ahead of him than he will ever be. I would rather live through 5 years of Will Levis than another season of AR.

I’m so tired of hearing Anthony Richardson. I’m a gators fan. You don’t want this guy, I’m telling you.

Tepper admits to mistake in hiring Matt Rhule
Cdparr7 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper is the new kid at school who realized he made friends with a loser on his 1st day. Loser being Matt and he is trying to remove himself from that. -
another option than trading for the first pick...

People forget Will Grier was also a 3rd round pick -
another option than trading for the first pick...
Cdparr7 replied to Panfan35's topic in Carolina Panthers
Levis will be there and unfortunately he and Stroud are about the only 2 that fit the mold of what Reich has had in his QB room (except McKee and nobody wants that). Richardson is Malik Willis, everybody building him up to be something when he’s not. He’s not even close to being Lamar. (Compare their stats). Every Richardson highlight is him throwing deep on a go or post route because the defense bought the play action. Why? Because Florida runs for 200 yards plus per game. I encourage all the Anthony Richardson stans to pull up his 9 ints and the situations he had to put the ball in windows and read the defense. It’s ugly. Edit: yes I am a gators fan. -

Why would you want either of those things? -

It’s not necessarily what I want them to do, but they are going to draft a QB this year whether they take whoever at 9 or trade up. They can free up enough cap to add a few moderate FAs and sign draft picks. Next year will be about developing a young QB and 2024 when we have over 100 million in cap space, it will be time to roll.
