I think you need to create a third category for someone of Tom Brady's talent. He belongs in a "Hybrid" category because he does "what needs to be done" in what situation he is in. I think you could argue Tom can be both a gunslinger and a game manager depending on what the defense throws at him. Also depending on what your views on what a gunslinger or a game manager is. This is just my opinion though

My guess is that any QB coming in will have a good enough head on their shoulders to ask Cam via social media or however.

Not trying to argue that Minshew is the best option or that he is better than Teddy. Just something I saw on Minshew and wanted to post. Tommy Garrett from Pro Football Network: In his 2019 rookie season, Minshew was 6-6 as a starter but outplayed their record. Remember, wins are not a QB stat, no matter how much people try to say otherwise. In 14 total games, Minshew completed 60.6% of his passes (285 of 470) for 3,271 yards, 21 touchdowns, and just 6 interceptions. That was more touchdowns, a higher QBR (91.2), and half as many interceptions as the 2019 NFL Rookie of the Year Kyler Murray. No question he struggled last season, but we can point back to the injury he was playing through. Still, there was progression in his sophomore season. Minshew raised his completion percentage by nearly six percent (66.1%), threw for more yards per game (251.0), and raised his QBR (95.9) while under pressure (27 sacks in nine games).

Just thought we should have an overall draft thread. Choose 1. Trade up in draft for our QB (If Big Fitz and Scatpack Matt is in love with one of the top prospects). 2. We wait at 8 to see if a QB falls to us, and select BPA if we lose out. 3. Take BPA/Trade back and take BPA. If we don't draft a QB, I don't like us trading for Darnold (Not speaking on Deshaun with the allegations). I would much rather prefer Minshew (a bias opinion honestly) , IF we went that route. But would rather just run it back with Teddy and build a roster.

Rumors going that the 49ers are looking into a poss. Gardner Minshew trade. They've been linked to damn near every QB that could be "on the move" so this rumor literally holds no weight to me. I only bring it up because if we were to trade for a QB and use the draft solely for building the rest of the team... (taking OT or CB at 8th and so forth) Minshew is the only option I like as someone that could actually be our QB rather than a placeholder. Just my opinion and a topic to speak on

So apparently, NFL.com has Carolina as a best fit for FA TY Hilton. I just wanted to know what popular opinion will be on this lol I wouldn't be mad about it, but I highly doubt this would happen. Just seems like a luxury add for us. Especially when the whole fanbase is wondering who will be our CB2 (Or who could poss. push Donte to CB2)
