49ers have blown up their roster The 49ers have lost nine starters from their 2024 roster with eight of those nine leaving in free agency. The NFL's other 31 teams have been scooping up the 49ers' free agents: They've spent $321 million on 49ers players, which is the most money EVER spent on a team's departing free agents. NFL teams were more than happy to sign all the players that the 49ers have given up on. So what's actually going on in San Francisco? It blowing up the roster going to work? Aaron Rodgers' best offer is apparently from the Giants Although we don't know yet where Rodgers will end up, we do know that his biggest offer is coming from the Giants, according to The Athletic. If Rodgers is making his decision based on money, then maybe he goes to New York, but it still feels like the Steelers are the leader in the clubhouse, or maybe there's no leader in the clubhouse. No one seems to know with Rodgers.

While the Cowboys made what one source described as “a push” for Cooper Kupp, they still are not considered the likely landing spot for the former Rams wide receiver, per source.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Cowboys are making a push to sign Cooper Kupp. According to NFL Next Gen Stats, the only player with more receiving yards from the slot than Kupp (2,448) over the past four seasons is ... current Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb (2,577). New Texans signee Christian Kirk is third with 2,389.

Developing: A sleeper team that has emerged and is now making a push to sign former Rams free-agent wide receiver Cooper Kupp is….the Dallas Cowboys, per league sources. Kupp’s decision on where to sign could come as early as today.

Kirk Cousin rumors: Falcons plans for QB Quarterback Kirk Cousins is looking for an opportunity to be a starter, but the Falcons are sticking with their plans on keeping the veteran, per ESPN. Cousins is reportedly "frustrated" about what's going on with Atlanta. Cousins signed a $180 million contract ahead of the 2024 season and was benched his first year with the team in favor of first-rounder Michael Penix Jr.

That drew a response on X from Parsons, Lawrence's teammate for four years and a fellow pass rusher: "This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown s---!" Parsons wrote. Several members of the Cowboys organization were upset with Lawrence's comment Thursday night, sources told ESPN.
