I got $5 on Eberle in the end. But Zane will get his lil chance next week. I wonder if they waste a depth position on having two kickers on the active roster (with eberle on practice squad)
-
Idk if the guy slye goes to works
-
Yeah he can go to Darnold's guy lol

I think if you can get a perfectly placed corn on the tip of your big toe... it increases your power +10
-
I just gotta get a timberland endorsement. If they make me some cleats maybe just maybe... I can hit that kick from the 33 lol
-
I can kick if they wanna sign someone else that won't "earn their trust" Lemme clip my toe nails real quick

recently signed him to our practice squad

I guess everything I saw was just highlights and overreaction to 5TDs. Or maybe the topic is just focused on Rodgers play. Thanks for the info and post. I definitely never saw this play.

Didn't watch the game. I apologize should've said that. And i wasn't trying to word it like I was. I just want a little insight on what we expect to see next week.
-
Regardless... We are playing the Saints and Rodgers doesn't play on the Saints and definitely doesn't play on the defensive side of the ball. I saw 10 QB pressures (0 TFL, 0 sacks) and I saw 5 TD's still being thrown with 0 turnovers. Im not sure how our secondary compares to the Packers. I mean I know we can and will generate pressure, but you have to think Sean Payton is really putting Winston in the best position. Still, I think if we can limit Kamara and force Winston to make more throws than he did against the packers that is the key.
-
Let's see how that DL plays next week from PFF... Saints Offensive Line New Orleans did not allow a single sack in the victory but surrendered 10 total pressures and two quarterback hits. Still, Winston was routinely given ample time to throw — an average of 3.14 seconds to release the ball. Tackle Terron Armstead is on track to pace the group in pass-blocking grade on first review of the film.

Lets hope we can build off this. Could turn out to be a good season if we can rely on this defense while seeing weekly improvements in our offense.

Week 1 Observation (What 2 Like)
CarolinaLivin replied to CarolinaLivin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Was some bad play calls. But expect tape to be watched for both the players and coaches to improve. Brady is still young and learning. His is a bit overrated, but like other's have mentioned he has the playbook, just has to work on calling the right plays. -
I think this is a win we can definitely build off of. REMEMBER... this game had a lot of question marks for us. We didn't know how Zach Wilson was gonna look, who was even gonna be their CB2, and a lot of rookies/new players on their roster along with a rookie coach. Not to mention a big change switch/change after half time. They threw a lot at us. A lot we likely didn't expect. Likely got complacent at half-time thinking a rookie coach couldn't rally his guys together and make the right adjustments at the half. I think this was a great game to build off of. a lot of good and a lot of bad. Will definitely be a lot of tape analysis and I think we will see a big difference in week 2 from week one. They treated Sam like a rookie and let him spam CMC. Not what you want all season, but let him get comfortable and build his confidence. I believe they will slowly open that playbook up and we'll see a little more each week as the season continues.

Hmm... make millions... no billions of dollars by throwing commercials all over games.... or not make that money because fans (that will likely tune in to watch in some form or fashion) don't like it.... Well we know what they chose lol But I definitely agree and i feel you. Just gotta know that the nfl will only treat this like business. The things they do for "football" like adding flags/rules to keep players safe or other moves like adding a 17th game are still business moves at the end of the day.

When watching the video, you can take words and spin them how you want... But ask yourself why he posted this video? The purpose. Then think of the vibe, his mannerisms, and how he is speaking. He posted because people will continue to judge from the outside looking in. He is giving you insight from the inside. His side of the story. He doesn't knock anyone down and realizes that it is a business. I believe Cam being released was both a business and football move. More business than football as keeping both QB's would have helped especially with COVID protocol and mac only having 5 months of learning the playbook and the ongoing pressure of who is replacing/filling those size 15 GOAT shoes that Tom brady left.

Jets WR Crowder is OUT for week 1 vs Panthers
CarolinaLivin replied to SgtJoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Baltimore Ravens have entered the chat... nahh but in all seriousness hate to see significant injuries and well injuries in general. Especially to those guys that are playing on "prove it deals" or have a rookie behind you looking to take advantage. -
It was just their strategy for this game. Buccs have good, strong run stoppers. They decided to try and pick apart the DBs on the outside. Smart move that almost won them the game. I can't speak on trends though. Just what I saw last night.

I feel the trolling, I mean I never cared. I thought the cleaning up part was adding the ignore button. Didn't know it was his website though. interesting.
-
Yeah never understood why you could talk about any former panther but soon as you mention cam its moved to the lounge. I mean... maybe this topic invites the most trolls lol idk
-
Idk if people noticed but the cowboys were specifically targeting one-on-one matchups with multiple WRs against the Buccs secondary. They limited the run game due to Zach (OL) was out and with the big run stoppers they have and picked they apart with little screen plays, curls and comeback routes and getting the ball into the hands on playmakers. We should take notes. It was a solid game plan. Cowboys would've won if it wasn't for a few drops and missed kicks.

Did anyone get to see joey slye out there kicking for the cowboys last night? I mean Greg Zuerlein...

Darnold takes responsibility for sucking in NYC
CarolinaLivin replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah I kinda hate when people think that these guys become leaders in alpha's in the NFL. These guys are in the NFL because they were leaders and alpha's in college and high school. They have been coached to take responsibility for their actions since high school. This nothing new. Its how you come back the next day, the next game. It's how you learn and grow from those mistakes. That's what I wanna see. Yeah anyone can look and say who's fault it was. Not just anyone can come out the next day/game with those mistakes fixed.
