I thought that was how you're supposed to do it

Insert CMC and we may have come away with the W. And that is only one of the many problems we had in this game. That's all I should have to say to feel comfortable. And it's not like its just some regular above talent player. CMC was literally our offense and we still played competitive without the man. A great learning experience nd since we won the games we were supposed to win we could afford to take this L (afford to, not want to). We have some more games that may not be "gimme games" but we should win.

Also... You win some/you lose some. That is the mindset of a team that blitz's the way we have all season. When going against an OL of that talent. It showed how teams can take advantage of our secondary. I wouldn't be worried about this, as our secondary will continue to get better each day. CJ Hen is learning the playbook and Horn has already showed what he can be. DJax is also continuing to get better and better. This DB room is building chemistry and learning from their mistakes. They are also learning what it feels like to have to play without our DL generating constant pressure.

Our expectations from preseason... to now Panther's are exceeding expectations We are expecting "our year" to be next year. A lot of us said that prior to the season beginning. We thought we could beat a lot of teams through this defense and have. And for those top-10 teams we face this year, we said we would at the very least, be competitive and in the game. We had 2 turnovers and barely got to produce any pressure defensively. We had our 1st round pick out and literally our best player overall out. During the game we had a few injuries. A big one being to reddick. Also the 12th man on the field for the Cowboys.. the ref. With all that being said... we lost by one score. We said in the beginning that as long as our defense plays well, OL blocks, and we don't put games on Sam's arm we will be fine. Well... we put this game on Sam's arm and although two turnovers came from it... a competitive game also came from it. Plus... Sam bounced back afterwards and tried to mount a comeback. This is a much better team. That is eager to learn and move forward. For a team that was listed as still being a "rebuild" team prior to week 1... we are playing well above expectations. Trust there is much to learn. Some missed tackles, missed receivers, and missed assignments. I only expect to see changes at OL if any personnel changes come about. The team just needs to watch tape and learn. 1-0 next week. Focused on one game at a time. Let's get ready for Philly.

Joe Thomas: Zach Wilson finally plays the way Jets fans dreamed when he was drafted No. 2 overall. The rookie gets the first win of his NFL career behind a 100-yard rushing game, and he adds 275 yards passing and a pair of TDs. Nate Burleson: The Panthers' defense has impressed early this season, having allowed only 191 yards per game (146 passing, 45 rushing). The unit also hasn't allowed a running back to rush for 25 yards yet this season. That comes to an end Sunday as Zeke runs over the unit for at least 100 yards and three TDs in a Dallas win. Maurice Jones-Drew: The Seattle Seahawks bounce back after a pair of losses to defeat division-rival San Francisco on the road. They get it done behind a dazzling performance from Russell Wilson, who throws for four touchdowns and runs one in for his fifth on the day. DeAngelo Hall: The Panthers' No. 1-ranked overall defense continues to dominate on the road in Dallas, helping the team improve to 4-0. The Cowboys' potent offense is limited, with Dak Prescott getting sacked five times. Marc Ross: During the Denver Broncos' 3-0 start over the Giants, Jaguars and Jets -- who have a combined record of 0-9 -- their defense has been absolutely dominant, ranking first in the NFL in points per game allowed and second in total and rushing yards per game. Now comes a true test vs. the league's best rushing attack in the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson, who ranks first in the NFL with 7.2 yards per carry, will lead the way with his second 100-yard rushing game of the season while handing the Broncos their first L. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-week-4-bold-predictions-jets-zach-wilson-get-first-win-panthers-d-stuns-cowb

And for anyone wondering about CJ's #15, CJ Saunders changed his number from 15 to 81 CJ wore 1 & 5 in college. Maybe played a part (small part) in convincing him to be happy here and play.

This is gonna be a good test, but our biggest test is against buffalo IMO

What? You don't enjoy running for your life? It's fun bro try it

This move would be based off how ready our coaching staff thinks Chuba is to take that increased workload. IMO

This won't be a season ending game or a game that causes for panic if we lose. This is a game where panthers fans get to see what we truly have in Darnold without ole reliable (22) -
I believe they have moved him to DE on most snaps and has played at a higher level because of it. Not sure if that is true. I haven't watched much Cowboys football.

Opinions: How far can they go with this Oline?

Panthers about to trade for CJ Henderson?!?!

With a rebuilding team having a rookie coach, you kind of have to build a team based off the kind of talent you want first (example: Matt Rhule wanted fast and physical players with high RAS scores). Next you look for who fits the culture you're building. Does he fit the mold? For them it was no, for us it was yes. -

Im by no means saying we need to get someone to start over thomas, im saying 1. I hate Thomas and 2. We need depth behind Tremble and Thomas lol i just tried to use as few words as possible. and trust i do know that thomas has improved. Idk how consistent he will be tho once we start playing real defenses, but we will see. -
