  1. I saw a timeline several months ago that said the kits (probably just the home kit at first) would be revealed in November, now I'm seeing on twitter that it won't be until December. I don't think the team has made any official statement about it (at least not that I've seen), so I was wondering if any of y'all have heard anything concrete about when they'll be released.

Yes!  He is bad!  Thats why hes the backup QB to freaking Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold!  Point is though, we all need to be rooting for him to play well on Sunday, regardless of your personal feelings towards him.  I think some people around here (not necessarily you) like shitting on all the players and the team so that if they play bad on Sundays and if we lose, then can come back and say "See, I told you so."

From all my interactions with BurnNChinn, I can safely say that they would 100% rather the Panthers lose and be right, than the Panthers win and be wrong.

He absolutely did. Whether you think it's loaded or unloaded, you never point a weapon at anything or anyone you don't want to destroy and you most certainly don't take for granted a weapon is "safe" unless you have unloaded it or seen it unloaded. You always treat any firearm as though it's loaded even when it's not. That's basic firearms safety 101.

It was supposed to be a prop gun for use in a movie. It was supposed to be loaded with blanks. When filming the scene, he obviously had to point it and shoot (have you ever seen an action movie before?). He was handed the gun under the assumption that it was safe to use. It's not his job to verify that. Of course you can assign blame after the fact, but Baldwin should not be liable for this. It falls on the person whose sole job is to make sure that the prop weapons are safe.

...if i'm handed a gun, at that point I am responsible for what happens with it... it takes less than one minute to dump the barrel and reload it after verifying whats in it... jail time....

Alec was handed the gun by the props master under the assumption that it was safe and ready to be used in the scene. It's not his job to make sure the prop guns are safe. There was no way he would've known that there was a live round.

  5. I was optimistic about Rhule heading into this season. We had a good draft behind us, and with one more year of good drafting + key FA acquisitions/trades, I thought we'd be fully ready to compete year in and year out. Now it just feels like someone has taken all the air out of the room and there's no getting it back in. The players don't seem as motivated, Rhule and Brady are getting outclassed by the league's worst coaching staffs, and the whole Darnold fiasco seems like it could set us back several years. I've never gone from high hopes to no hope at all in such a short time. I'll still watch them, but until something changes, it's gonna be hard to get behind this team.

Here's one to start: Cam Newton, who's still better than either quarterback on our roster now. You're really gonna hate this and you'll hate it even more as you accept reality:

We cut the best quarterback on the roster in the preseason. And he's only a middling backup.

So let me pose some questions your way: what qualifications does P.J. Walker have to be an NFL backup? What makes Sam Tecklenburg qualified to be an NFL backup? What makes Sam Franklin qualified to be an NFL backup? Seen anything from Bravvion Roy?

So I'm to assume that you're implying that Cam was cut because he didn't go to Temple, and no other reason?

And the fact that you just said that Will Grier, who is currently third on the Cowboy's QB depth chart behind Cooper fugging Rush, is better than Sam Darnold, tells me that you either have horrible football takes, or you're purposefully taking the piss. It's clear you're upset at the amount of players on the roster that come from programs that Rhule coached, but if you were a first time NFL coach with more holes on your roster than swiss cheese, would you not try and fill those holes in the short term with players you know and are familiar with? The only players from Baylor or Temple who are currently *starters* have proved they deserve a starting spot.

Interested to see your spin-doctoring once Robby Anderson (Temple) is our WR1 after we trade DJ Moore (non-Temple, best WR we've had since 89) because he didn't go to Temple.

You are getting angry at your own assumptions. Also, you did not answer my question.

I understand you as a Panthers fan might buy a jersey once every two years. I’m not like you. I have PSLs and am very happy to have them for longer than you have been born.

You don't seem very happy to have them at the moment. No one is making you have PSLs, so if you're complaining this much about the money you're paying to support the Panthers, then idk what to tell you other than maybe reconsider having PSLs? Like I said it's up to you. But if you're as old as you're alluding to, then I'd be embarrassed to be acting the way that you are at the moment.

Why would some of you guys pay to support losing teams? This is Tepper’s 4th season as the owner of this team. We haven’t won anything under that man.

If you don't want to pay to support the Panthers then you quite literally do not have to. It is your choice.
