True.
But this fan base believes Sam Darnold is a crap QB, regardless of the O-line. On the other hand, the same fan base believes Cam Newton's issues are because of the O-line.
Just depends on the weather, I guess.....
I think we're in for another year of poor to mediocre QB play regardless next year. But with an overhauled OL, at least we would be in position to get our franchise guy in 2023.

Hell some people are wanting to roll with Darnold next year because our line is terrible. You have to have a QB to compete. If there is one we like we need to try to obtain him. Best case scenario is new coach and new QB next year.
Any QB we get is going to be running for their life behind this line, just like we've seen all year. It is absolutely unacceptable to not overhaul the OL this offseason. OL first, then QB.

IF, and that is a big if, we can can basically can the entire offensive coaching staff and bring in a crew who know how to get the best out of players and can scheme around the talent that we have, and if we spend the vast majority of our draft capital on the OL, then I think we can be a decent to good offense. QB is still an area of need but OL has to come first. We have talent on the offense, we just need a good line and coaches who actually know what they're doing.

I'm never the type to root for my team to lose, but if losing the rest of our games gets Rhule fired, then so be it.

I'm right there with you. I'm still going to be getting the replica over the authentic but with other jerseys I've owned, the difference between the two have been so unnoticeable that you'd have to be a jersey expert to know. Now there's a big glaring difference that is a lot easier to pick out and that's just annoying.

Authentic
Replica
My biggest gripe is that the "replica" jersey does not have the same collar as the authentic. It's a small thing, but it weakens the design in my opinion, and now I'm forced to decide if the accurate collar is worth an extra $50.

I really do like this kit. So many MLS kits are just a solid color jersey template with the club crest and sponsor. It may feel like a small thing, but having white sleeves does so much to differentiate us. And add on top of that the fact that we have white shorts with it, not a monochrome jersey and shorts situation, and I think we'll look really good out there on the pitch. As one commenter said previously (I can't remember where): there's a lot worse things you can be than blue arsenal. There's a reason Arsenal's kits are iconic around the world.

I really hope they're not solid black with a white Ally logo
I have a feeling the one that got leaked is what it's gonna look like.

Tepper has already decided to fire Rhule. There is no way this team wins out. I'm not sure they win another game. Rhule is a dead man walking.
This has to be the way right? I mean what has Rhule shown to anyone in the organization that year 3 will be better than years 1 and 2?

If Brady goes to a top college he will need to bring an experienced DC along with him probably with head coaching experience.
The teams that have supposedly contacted him could be lower level teams within the power 5 conferences. And that's assuming that this rumor has merit to it.

I get the sense that GMs might look at his stint here and think that our offensive problems weren't all his fault and give him another chance. I'm thinking maybe the Eagles give him a shot.

This is how I figured it would play out. I can't imagine Tepper being desperate enough for a mid season firing until it hits the fan next year, but you never know with an impatient billionaire.

Kits will be revealed and released December 9th

as a Clemson fan I hope it doesn't happen. Venables is the key coach to Clemson's success.
No clue if he will be a good HC. Different skill sets. But Venables is the best DC in college football.

I haven't seen that. That isn't what leads be to believe Venables is likely the guy
He very well could be. Seems to make sense from both parties. Like I said, we'll see.

Ah damn. I’d like to see Venables get a shot at it. Would be a fit
Selfishly as a Clemson alum and fan I would not like to see him leave lol.

It isn't fake news their is a big Venables push going on from high profile OU folks.
and Venables has OU ties.....and IMO is easily the best coordinator in college football. Which makes him a prime candidate. He also has one of his sons all the way out of the Clemson program and the other almost out. And his sons were keeping him there.
What I was referring to was a tweet by an account trying to pass itself off as Bleacher Report saying that it was a done deal. Nothing is confirmed yet. We'll have to see what happens.

If Rhule did leave it would be for the ND job. He would not be a fit at OU at all.
We're talking about Brent Venables not Rhule.

Uhhhh just bc u haven’t seen it doesn’t mean it’s not true. Vernablers to Clemson certainly has some smoke.
"certainly has some smoke" and "going to be announced soon" are two completely different things. Also, "Vernablers to Clemson"??? Are you a troll or a moron or both? Don't answer that.

Uhhhh Pretty sure Vernables will be announced to OU soon.
I haven't seen anything suggesting that to be true. And I'm not sure if you're purposefully misspelling his name, but it's spelled Venables.

As soon as I heard Rhule say that hiring Brady was outside of his comfort zone, I knew right then that that was going to lead to Rhule only ever giving the nod to people he's personally familiar with.
