  1. Lol you're being purposefully obtuse if you don't see the point of that tweet.
  2. I'm already mentally preparing for it to be Wilks. At least then it'll be expected and I won't feel as let down.
  3. 6-6 imo is actually a good result, all things considered. What soured me on Wilks was watching the Pittsburg game, and the second Tampa game. Those were both very winnable games and we were shown up. And the second Tamps game was almost a "win and you're in" type game with nothing to lose. I'm not sure how anyone who watched those games could genuinely want Wilks back.
  4. I think Tepper deserves a healthy dose of criticism for numerous reasons, but I also think it's unfairly harsh to suggest that he had to be told what the right thing to do here was.
  5. This thread has become egregiously misogynist.
  6. Your impatience is not going to change media practices. Idk man if it bothers you that much just don't pay attention.
  7. We'll have to see. I'm not gonna be upset if he goes somewhere else.
  8. Things worked out great when we rushed a hiring last time.
  9. I agree, it's the appropriate thing to do, in light of the situation. I'm glad Tepper is doing it. I'm just saying it seems like the "Payton to Carolina" thing is losing steam, and it's only gonna lose more with this interview being delayed. Of course, things could change. No one knows how it'll go down.
  10. This has to put us as a long shot to get Payton now. Seems like all the signs are pointing somewhere else.
  11. I'll be interested to hear what the whispers are after Tepper's meeting with Payton tomorrow.
  12. Reading this this morning was like a punch to the gut. RIP Anton.
  13. I'm absolutely gutted for his loved ones, friends, and teammates.
  14. Charlotte FC has f*ck all to do with the success of the Panthers. This is a worthless thread, OP.
  15. We'd have to give up way more next year to get Maye. We're winning 6-7 games minimum next year, even with Darnold at QB.
  16. Almost every mock draft I've seen has Young to the Texans, Stroud to the Colts, and Levis to us at 9, which makes me think that is the least likely scenario. I'm starting to believe it's possible that the Colts could get enamored with Levis, (ala Lance with the 49ers) and Stroud slips past them, and we move up ahead of the Raiders and get our guy.
  17. It's almost impossible to determine intent here. This is a kickoff return, and in real time it's a bang-bang type play. I don't think this rises to the level of an intentional action in order to lose the game.
  18. I said "Transitive property does not apply in sports" to which you said "It does when a guy is demanding full control of your football operations". How am I not to read that as you saying that Tepper was affected by the transitive property of Michigan's wins and losses (ie how who they beat did, and how who they lost to did)? Seems like that's exactly what you're saying, but maybe I'm just misunderstanding.
  19. It may be the case that Tepper has learned from his mistake, but I think you're making a rather large assumption that it was due to Harbaugh losing against TCU. And the full ramifications of that loss were not parsed out until last night when TCU sh*t the bed against Georgia, and that's well after Tepper has supposedly decided against Harbaugh.
