He's not being very subtle about his desire to be a Commander. If he does actually end up being traded, I'd expect that it's Washington and only Washington in the running.

This Copa America has been wild with all the physical games, the refereeing "mistakes", and high tension throughout. It just boiled over last night in Charlotte.

Tepper failure made him top news on BBC. Apparently Columbia fans begun abusing family members of Uruguayan players so Uruguayan players lead by world star Darwin Nunez who plays for Liverpool charged Columbian fans.
Uruguay captain José María Giménez said the players were trying to defend their families, describing the situation in the crowd as a "disaster", Reuters reported.
He continued: "There was no police and we had to defend our families. This is the fault of two or three people who had a few too many drinks and don't know how to drink."
Núñez was seen hugging his son on the pitch after the altercation.

Charlotte would get a new team awarded the same day the Panthers left. Don't fool yourself
I'm sure the same was said when the Rams left LA. Only took 20 years to get them back.

Well Kansas City voters just voted to reject publicly funding stadium upgrades via a new sales tax.
So it seems your comment about it being a lack of passion in the fanbase that would lead a city to choose to not help a billionaire fund their stadium upgrades doesn't make any sense.

Does anyone really watch the summer Olympics?
Watch a guy throw a rock
Watch a girl throw a stick
Watch those people run a sprint?
Hey here's some basketball so America can win something
Oh Look!! Break dancing
So America can win something? The US has 2.5 times the number of total medals as the next highest country. We dominate the summer Olympics.
And yes, people watch.

Maybe in the US but if you want to talk the world I would say it would have to be whatever city in whatever country it is where every time their stupid soccer team loses they riot, tear down the stadium, burn the city then execute the players. Now that's the epitome of a poo hole sports city. We aren't very good in Charlotte but at least we aren't that level of stupid and ignorant.
Lol name the city where that happens

It's Charlotte and Detroit. Hornets and Pistons are both ass. The Lions success last year doesn't undo decades of poor to mediocre play. Panthers I don't need to explain. Both the Tigers and the Red Wings haven't had any real success over the last decade. Detroit has 3 sucky teams and one good one that was sucky forever. Charlotte just has two sucky ones, but doesn't have a good one to rest their laurels on, so it's probably a wash.

The biggest difference is they spent so much on Bryce that they have to roll with him 1 more year, it's non-optional from every angle. Tell me that if he was a 2nd or 3rd round pick they wouldn't have used this years 1st on a QB?
Almost assuredly.

Bryce was bad. Darnold is also bad. Neither have shown so far that they are franchise QB material. The difference is, Bryce only has one year under his belt, whereas Darnold has well proven what he is, and what he isn't. I don't think you should let Bryce's poor play make you pine for Darnold.

Could have rebuilt with a quality head coach and serviceable quarterback while also stacking picks. Sam Darnold is still only 26 years old. Let that sink in. He is twenty six. Assuming he figures it out, he could have another 14 years.
Darnold is never going to figure it out, and Wilks ceiling is .500 level coach with maybe a shot at a wild card one and done every year. Neither were the answer.
Didn't think there'd still be Darnold truthers in 2024 but here we are.

That's not totally the case.
It is hard to discuss future without a crystal ball, you look at the past the to assess and project, and there is a lot of on field negative from year one. Some people say throw it out. You can’t dismiss things that were on him and not the OL or Reich or Chark or Mingo etc., if you want the real story.
Only Young can tell where that goes and everybody just has to wait for real football.
That footwork is not just people picking on him, it is probably a huge barrier to his potential success. All the passing comes from a base and if it off the throws are hard to trust.
OTA optimism is fools gold tbh. We have seen the skins and shirts all stars enough times to know what that is. We will need real football at real football game speed which we won’t get even in preseason.
That said I expect him to somehow make his way to somewhere in QB tiers or rankings to maybe low 20s. Gotta win 6 at least for that.
My opinion is if they can make a playoff run with a 4th tier QB then fine but I’d just as soon go over to the side of those who for years held out for a QB capable of talking to and winning a SB. I am not thinking he is that guy so far but taking this year to find out is necessary.
I actually agree with everything you've said here. My comment was directed to the posters who feel the need to derail threads with the same Bryce talking points over and over again. It's just tiresome, even if what they're saying has some truth to it.

The issue is he wasn't just bad. He was historically bad.
So yes if the Panthers put up a new blueprint video and conclude the first episode with footage of the same QB hopping in the air to heave a basic pass in OTA's in shorts after doing so throughout the trainwreck that was the 2023 season after hiring a coach specifically to "fix" him yes it's going to derail that thread.
I appreciate you spinning your pathological need to turn every thread into a Bryce hate circle jerk as some sort of preordained inevitability.

I think in the end we are all agreeing on the same point. Everyone wants the team/BY to be successful. Most comments are heavily nuanced in optimism or pessimism which rubs others the wrong way. Its a forum on the internet so I just go with it.
The reality is that the org is trying to build a team that provides the offensive framework for a young QB to develop. If BY can’t do that (I hope he can and reserve judgement) it is unfortunate and they will need to look elsewhere.Facts.

It's amusing that people take the time to login here and wonder aloud why anyone is discussing the starting QB we traded the farm to acquire in a thread about a Panthers behind the scenes series called Panthers "blueprint". There is no blueprint without a franchise QB. Yes he is and will remain a focal point in any and all discussions.
There's no discussion anymore, it's just a circle jerk about how bad Bryce is, and it got old a while ago.

how would he know that?
He's been in the league a long time, that means a lot of joint practices at other team's facilities. There are only 8 teams who have training camp away from their main facility.

Black on black is the best combo, and if they fixed the black helmet to not have a monochrome blue panther logo it'd be a top 5 all time NFL uni combo.
Just under the black on black is blue jersey/white pants, that combo with the silver helmets is clean as hell.
The silver pants have lost their luster since they went from shiny metallic silver to dull matte gray when Nike took over.

Yea but how convenient is that to have two lines go north plus toll lanes while no one else gets anything? East and South also projected to grow more than twice as fast as North on latest Mecklenburg projection data. I drive from uptown in all directions. I can get on I77 toll lane zoom thru to lake Norman no problem. I literally get stuck and stop and gone to East and South with no way around. Do we need to spend poo ton of money again to help North while the growth and traffic issues are all East and South?
I mean I’m all for putting light rail lines all over the city. I’m also not against a commuter rail up the 77 corridor, which you seem to be.
