  1. I've seen people on here say that Fitt and Reich are both going to be fired after next week, so yes, I think the Huddle's expectations are a little off (shocking, I know). They both are going to be here at the end of the year, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they are both here through the entirety of next season, too.
  2. We're not going to be buyers at the deadline. Reports are the Fitt rightfully has his hands tied when it comes to sending away future assets.
  3. I don't know, you'll have to ask them. I held out hope longer than most here, but I'll be honest, it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. That doesn't change, though, the issue that some on here are being very annoying with their negativity. It's possible to right and annoying at the same time. I think also that sometimes nuanced takes that aren't 100% burn everything down get taken as though they're in full support of what's currently happening, and that is very frustrating.
  4. My initial response to ForJimmy was me speculating as to why people seem to be leaving this site. The most miserable voices are the loudest ones. It's not exactly a fun place to be around if you prefer cooler heads to prevail. I never made any statement on whether or not people should or should not be able to vent their frustrations, I'm just saying the constant bitching and moaning over the same things has gotten old for some, and they've left. My response to you was more me noting that you've claimed numerous times that you don't watch Panther's games, at least not fully, and how ironic it is that you are a mod of a Panthers forum and can't even be arsed to watch the games. I also found it ironic that someone who would brag so vocally and so frequently about how often they missed the games would still feel comfortable commenting on how the players played in said games.
  5. Now I know you're smart enough to see that that's not what I am suggesting with my initial statement, nor my response to you. Disingenuousness looks bad on you.
  6. Yes, you've said this before. In fact, I've seen you, a mod of a Carolina Panthers forum, state for multiple seasons now about how little you care and how you just can't bring yourself to watch Panthers games. This doesn't seem to preclude you from enlightening us with your takes about how they're playing, though.
  7. Because this place is just becoming a clusterfck of miserable people all saying "I told you so" to the folks who allowed themselves to have hope during the offseason.
  8. We traded CMAC? This is the first I'm hearing of it.
  9. I agree. They need to take their lumps this year and attack the FA market during the offseason. These quick band-aid type moves keep digging us deeper and deeper into the hole.
  10. You better brace yourself for disappointment then if it's those two or bust.
  11. The decision to move on from Wilks and the decision to hire Reich are two independent decisions, that can be individually weighed on their own merits. The decision to hire Reich has no bearing on the merits of moving on from Wilks. I'm not going to relitigate the discourse from the offseason, but suffice it to say, I do not want to watch a season where our ceiling is aiming for .500 and maybe squeaking into the playoffs. I would much rather watch a team that is competing for the division and are a legit SB contender every year. We would not be that under Wilks. Now, Reich has not performed. That much is clear. If he can't produce a winning team then he deserves to be moved on from as well, but his performance is irrelevant to whether or not it was the right decision to move on from Wilks.
  12. I realize this is one of your numerous narratives that you have repeated and will repeat ad nauseum until the horse is well and truly dead, but I just don't understand how you can come away from watching these games with the main issue being Bryce's arm. It almost seems like you're not watching the games, you're just running with same easy narratives that have been lobbed to you like a softball.
  13. I submit that your reasons #2 and #3 are the root cause of why reason #1 appears to be the case.
  14. So we can get our ass handed to us by competent teams? No thanks. Moving on was the right call, even if the results aren't there yet this season.
  15. After 4 games, CJ Stroud has been anointed the Michael Jordan of football.
  16. Jesus Christ y'all are melodramatic and lame as hell. It's a football team not a life partner, you don't need to do all this corny, performative "commitment" drivel. No one cares if you decide to watch every game and spend your life savings doing so, and no one cares if you decide to never watch another Panthers game again.
  17. This is the Bears we're talking about here, you can't rely on them to make rational drafting decisions.
  18. Can't pick in the top 10 if you trade your first round pick lol
  19. Citation needed on all of this drivel lmao.
