  1. AJ for a decent interior lineman? Sure. AJ for at least 2 2nd-3rd round picks? Sure. Anything less would not be worth it IMO.
  2. The 2010 team was a worse team, but this one hurts worse because we had hope.
  3. I was optimistic about Rhule heading into this season. We had a good draft behind us, and with one more year of good drafting + key FA acquisitions/trades, I thought we'd be fully ready to compete year in and year out. Now it just feels like someone has taken all the air out of the room and there's no getting it back in. The players don't seem as motivated, Rhule and Brady are getting outclassed by the league's worst coaching staffs, and the whole Darnold fiasco seems like it could set us back several years. I've never gone from high hopes to no hope at all in such a short time. I'll still watch them, but until something changes, it's gonna be hard to get behind this team.
  4. Well if you only listened to the folks on here you'd think we were 0-6 headed for 0-16.
  5. Our offense vs. their defense is going to be a comedy of errors.
  6. So I'm to assume that you're implying that Cam was cut because he didn't go to Temple, and no other reason? And the fact that you just said that Will Grier, who is currently third on the Cowboy's QB depth chart behind Cooper fugging Rush, is better than Sam Darnold, tells me that you either have horrible football takes, or you're purposefully taking the piss. It's clear you're upset at the amount of players on the roster that come from programs that Rhule coached, but if you were a first time NFL coach with more holes on your roster than swiss cheese, would you not try and fill those holes in the short term with players you know and are familiar with? The only players from Baylor or Temple who are currently *starters* have proved they deserve a starting spot.
  7. You are getting angry at your own assumptions. Also, you did not answer my question.
  8. You don't seem very happy to have them at the moment. No one is making you have PSLs, so if you're complaining this much about the money you're paying to support the Panthers, then idk what to tell you other than maybe reconsider having PSLs? Like I said it's up to you. But if you're as old as you're alluding to, then I'd be embarrassed to be acting the way that you are at the moment.
  9. If you don't want to pay to support the Panthers then you quite literally do not have to. It is your choice.
  10. The rebuild started when he hired Rhule. Everything before that was an assessment of what we had.
  11. CJ is still on his rookie deal for at least 3 years. He can theoretically become a lockdown corner across from Horn. This is not a "win now" move. Gilmore is a vet that can come in and mentor our very young CB room. Not sure this move indicates a win now attitude either.
  12. Tell me, which veterans that were "jettisoned" should we have kept? The highest volume influx of new talent to change a team comes via the draft, not free agency or trades, so yes, in a wholesale rebuild of a roster, the team is going to skew young. Not to mention that the presence of *any* "non-temple veterans" will disprove your narrative.
  13. We ended the 2019 season with arguably the NFL's worst roster. Did you really expect this team to be competitive last year and this year?
  14. This year was never meant to be the one where we became truly competitive. One more offseason of picks/acquisitions that can contribute meaningfully and then we can start talking about winning the division/playoffs etc.
  15. I'm gonna have this post in mind while watching the game lol
  16. I haven't read most of the negative threads past the first post because they mostly boil down to "O-Line bad" or "Offense bad" or just droning on about how we never win anything as a franchise. I'm just commenting on how there are two competing threads with 100% opposite headlines currently, and how it seems the Eagles game has polarized the Huddle. That is all.
  17. Now we got threads subtweeting other threads lmao that Eagles loss really did a number on this fanbase.
  18. Why would you trade our best corner at the moment (Horn has only played 3 games, can't call him our best) when we don't really know if Gilmore or Henderson are going to perform well for us? Doesn't make any sense.
  19. Finally a nuanced take. Everyone (myself included) got way ahead of themselves after we hit 3-0. This is a young team with a young core that will experience growing pains. Yes this was a bad loss but it is by no means the end of the world.
