  1. If Bryce was a top 10 QB no one would care what we gave up to get him. See? Two can play that game. So I guess the Falcons get props for the concept of investing in the QB, regardless of how nonsensical the specifics are.
  2. It'd be like if we drafted Levis at 9 in 2023 after giving Derek Carr $100 million. Would you honestly be ok with that?
  3. Well then that begs the question, why sign an old, injured Cousins to a big deal and thus hamper your ability to add talent around a QB on a rookie deal? This decision reeks of indecisiveness in the FO, and I can't believe it's receiving praise on this website.
  4. 2 is a cursed number for a Carolina QB.
  5. I think its been pretty evident that Young will be allowed this year to prove himself with a functional staff and some actual weapons. If he can't hack it, then he'll be replaced. If you're not ok with that then tough titties I guess.
  6. Are we supposed to be giving the Falcons props for paying a 36 year old (when the season starts) Kirk Cousins coming off an Achilles tear $100 million and also spending a very premium pick on a QB who's already 24, and will be 26-27 by the time he starts if everything goes to plan? Let's be real, if the Panthers made these moves you'd be fuming.
  7. Well obviously. But until we know one way or the other that the pick has worked out, this is all we have.
  8. Word on the street is that Beane called Morgan when he got word that the Patriots wanted to move up for Legette. Morgan gets to move up for relatively cheap to get his guy, Beane gets to move back and still get his guy, and the Pats get screwed over. Win, win, win.
  9. Most of that investment is Sanders, and I doubt that mistake is repeated again with the new staff.
  10. It wouldn't me either, especially if they're planning to slow-roll Brooks, and they can't rely on Penny's health to last the whole season.
  11. A couple of notable insights I gained from this: - Diontae Johnson seems eager to help Bryce progress in his career - Clowney is happy to be back home - Luke is essentially a FO spokesperson - Dan says he would've liked to have added more talent in the draft, and he seems eager to scour the waver wire for other team's cuts. It's easy to read into his statements that this roster rebuild is nowhere near complete in his eyes.
  12. Part fluff, part insight into the draft and FA, as well as some interviews with Luke and Dan.
  13. None of this is new info. Seems like you're just wallowing in misery just to say you're miserable tbh.
  14. What are the odds that he even knows who Wesley Walls is
  15. Rome Odunze was sitting right there on the board. They also probably should've gone DE and been the first team to pick defense.
  16. It took a historically lopsided trade in our favor for the Huddle to say they were good with the trade lol.
  17. Missed that detail. My apologies, disregard and carry on.
  18. I think going from 2 wins to 8 wins would be enough of an increase to convince Tepper that he deserves one more season, to see if he continues the upward trajectory.
  19. If Bryce breaks out and leads us to 7-8 wins then they wouldn't be drafting a QB anyway.
  20. Does this point to the staff not being tied to Bryce past this year, and so they aren't necessarily drafting to suit his play style, or does it point to the staff believing that they can get Bryce up to a level where he can maximize XL's abilities?
  21. Well I guess we'll see how good Catmanjr's sources are.
