  1. I appreciate you spinning your pathological need to turn every thread into a Bryce hate circle jerk as some sort of preordained inevitability.
  2. There's no discussion anymore, it's just a circle jerk about how bad Bryce is, and it got old a while ago.
  3. You of all people should not be complaining about the staff acknowledging that Bryce needs help with his footwork.
  4. He's been in the league a long time, that means a lot of joint practices at other team's facilities. There are only 8 teams who have training camp away from their main facility.
  5. Black on black is the best combo, and if they fixed the black helmet to not have a monochrome blue panther logo it'd be a top 5 all time NFL uni combo. Just under the black on black is blue jersey/white pants, that combo with the silver helmets is clean as hell. The silver pants have lost their luster since they went from shiny metallic silver to dull matte gray when Nike took over.
  6. I mean I’m all for putting light rail lines all over the city. I’m also not against a commuter rail up the 77 corridor, which you seem to be.
  7. Not too far away? Try getting to Lake Norman from the Blue line and see how well that goes. You should look at a map of the proposed routes. While they both technically go north, they’re serving very different corridors. Nobody comes from the Lake Norman area to uptown? Have you seen 77 at rush hour? Lol.
  8. This line is going to be a commuter rail line, not a light rail line. This line will have basically have only one goal, which is to bring people into uptown from the suburbs to the north, and send them back to the burbs at the end of the day. I think every station will have a park-and-ride lot, intended to incentivize commuters to not drive their vehicle all the way into uptown. This will ideally lead to cars making shorter trips, less cars on the road, and a less congested uptown. While I believe that in an ideal world, there would not be a need for a car at any point in a trip, this is a good step for a city building out its public transportation. Also, I don't understand the disdain for this being funded by taxes. This is the type of project that taxes should pay for, and unless it's being privately funded by a corporation (a terrible idea for transit), then it has to be taxpayer funded.
  9. Shines brightest under the lights, sign him now Dan
  10. Honestly both teams desperately need for things to be much improved over last year.
  11. Big props to @Jackie Lee for keeping us updated!
  12. I've already heard more than once that it's possible, even probable, that he will break the Bears' passing yards record in his rookie year. Granted they've never had a 4,000 yard passer but still.
  13. Fair enough. I guess we'll just have to hope Clowney reproduces his stats from last year, however likely that is.
  14. Idk, I saw him get taken out by TEs and overrun the QB without touching him enough to question if he's deserving of being called an elite pass rusher.
  15. So now we're upset about losing ygm and Burns? lol.
  16. Honestly LB, and maybe S are the only positions I can think of where we've downgraded from last season.
  17. Him sucking sure would take the sting out of us gifting him to Chicago
  18. These are pretty pedestrian throws, which we saw Bryce make plenty of on Day 1.
  19. This has worked well in soccer with goal line technology, although I'm sure some purists won't like that the decision is now up to the "eye-in-the-sky" and not the ref on the field.
  20. The optimist in me wants to believe that Canales will see enough this year to either warrant committing to Bryce moving forward or cut bait and draft a QB in the 1st next year. But who knows.
  21. Yeah that's my exact fear lol. He needs to be on the field this year so we can have definitive proof of whether or not he's got the goods. Luckily, he proved himself to be a tough lil SOB last year.
  22. I agree. Dalton might get us to 4-5 wins but we'd still probably be in good shape to go QB at the top of the draft again.
  23. The worst would be he gets hurt early in the season and we have to do all of this again next year.
  24. I think you have a misunderstanding of my position. It doesn't bother me at all to say Bryce played like dogshit last season, because it's true. However, I am willing to let this season play out before I'm ready to say that he can't make it in the NFL. I agree with your take that we'll know better after the first couple of preseason games what we're in for this season. My response was just in amusement at how you came in here holier than thou about others derailing threads by dunking on others' QB opinions, when you're pretty well known for taking exception to any opinion on Bryce that offers any optimism at all.
