  1. With every passing day it gets more and more mind boggling that folks genuinely wanted Wilks as head coach. Glad that has largely been put to bed.
  2. Our back line has had some shaky moments. Copetti hasn’t been too involved as of yet. The attack seems like it still has some gelling to do. Can’t complain too much as it’s the first game of the season but we need to stake our claim on this game and take the 3 points.
  3. Denver is high up there for franchises that I would relish their implosion. Only Saints, Falcons, and Patriots are ahead.
  4. Whatever goalpost he gives you will be swiftly moved once the rubber hits the road anyway.
  5. There are certainly arguments for going OL this draft. I would even say it's probably something the staff should do. But this draft reeks of someone who hasn't paid attention over the past year and is going off of previous narratives.
  6. We're not talking generally, we're talking about specifically this year and this draft. And like I said earlier, spending a first round pick on OL depth is ridiculous.
  7. The Champions League format of a two-leg tie with aggregate scores, and a single elimination final I think would work better here. But I suppose this is America and it's gotta be different for the sake of being different.
  8. As evidenced by the replies, this is clearly a subtweet about Panther's fan's reaction to his mock. If he thinks we were complaining all last fall about our OL play, then maybe he's not as tuned in as some think.
  9. That's a pretty decent argument for taking one, but I think if we're gonna go that route, it should happen next year. DE/WR are too big of a need this year.
  10. Adding tackle depth with a first round pick is fugging ridiculous, even if you disregard all of our other more intense needs. I knew most of these mock drafters don't pay attention to the Panthers or have a firm understanding of team needs outside of the glaringly obvious, but this is just taking the piss.
  11. This place would implode like a neutron star if we offered a Daniel Jones-caliber QB $45 mil a year.
  12. Seems that every year the first 10 picks are always predicted to be QB heavy. Sometimes they're right, sometimes they're wrong, but it does seem that even when there are several QBs taken in the first round, they're, on average, not taken as highly as they were mocked.
  13. I trust this staff, so if they collectively identify someone that they're willing to move up for, then I'm all for it.
  14. There are question marks around 98% of all QB draft prospects. I bet you would've been livid if you were a Chiefs fan that just watched your team trade two firsts and a third to move up and grab Mahomes, who at the time was the furthest thing from a solid pick. Sometimes you have to make the move.
  15. Exactly. Folks on here have a trading back fetish. Just get your guy if he's there.
  16. I am unfamiliar with him, but Portland fans seem upset to see him go.
  17. So if "the closest thing to an NFL strength and conditioning program outside of the NFL" didn't think it necessary for him to bulk up more then what's the issue? Unless you're saying he physically can't gain 15 pounds worth of muscle, which I find unlikely. Also this hallowed strength and conditioning program produced the dad bod having Mac Jones as well.
