Not really because last year they used him in much the same we are now. BEFORE last year he was considered a bust when they weren't playing him to his strengths. Also, this season he has 4.5 sacks after 3 games.

Or that this is a completely new defensive scheme and it fits him better? Sometimes asking players to do what they're good at makes a huge difference. Just look at Reddick. How many sacks does he have already?

Everyone who predicts Dallas to win this game has them scoring more than 20 points. I don't think that will happen offensively. Their strength, run and quick short passes plays into our strength defensively. Stop the run and make those short quick reads difficult through disguise. That's what we did to the Saints and I expect us to do that today too even without Horn. Force Dak to hold the ball and he'll start having problems and the sacks will come along with his mistakes.

QB no. We never had any intention of drafting a QB at 8. None. That's why we tried to get Stafford and then we got Darnold. Once we got Darnold he was going to be our QB this season and that is perfectly clear to me. They never had a QB on their board in the first that I've seen nor heard about. Maybe an OL but I doubt it. I believe we would have drafted Horn and we would have them both just as we do now. Having 2 big, man coverage corners is what this defense is built for. I can't wait to see what we look like with 2 shutdown corners on the field at the same time. Horn was already showing that he is and I believe this staff will have Henderson doing the same sooner rather than later.

I'm not really worried about the losing streak starting now. Next week is Philly. The next tough team we'll face with be Minnesota in 2 weeks. That will be a tough match-up. After that it's NYG, @Atl which we'll need to be careful but they don't look very good and then NE with a rookie QB.

One thing that I've noticed is that practically everyone who predicts the Cowboys win also have them scoring more than 20 points. Not only hear but all of the talking heads too. I believe I've only seen one that didn't. So, I surmise that it all comes down to whether or not you believe this defense is for real or not. I personally don't think Dallas will score more than 20 so if our offense can reach 20 I think Carolina wins.

I totally agree. We can only play who we face. The only thing that matters is do you win the games. Almost no one thought we'd beat the Saints and they all knew the situation but then after we dominated them the situation became the reason but it wasn't before the game. Now let's take Denver. They beat the Giants, Jags and Jets and yet I don't hear the same thing. How is that possible? Some people will always base their judgements based on what they expected to be true first. Eventually they may admit they were wrong but only after all the lines they have drawn are crossed. I'm not sure why exactly but I was very confident about the Saints game even though they destroyed the Pack. I think we are better than the cowboys but I'm a little more nervous because of the unknowns. I'm actually more nervous about Horn being out than CMC. It's more of an unknown to me. I still believe we're going to win but I haven't seen the Horn effect yet and especially against this team. We'll need our Corners to rise to the challenge.

They do this every season and yet every season for the last 20 years it ends the same way. Fug the Cowboys. This isn't your grandpa's team!!! This is one of the many reasons I can't stand Journalists. No offense to anyone who is but take note if you are. They always jump on an idea, even if it's based on nothing and keep repeating it until the masses think it's true based on repetition of the narrative. It's just baseless propaganda.

Sorry dude, it's not always What you say but How you say it. I've never pood you I don't think, as you have good insight and can understand but sometimes the way you say things or continue to repeat things can cause a negative feeling about some of your posts. I don't mean this as criticism but more of an honest observation. I know you're a real fan and I also have seen that you picked the Panthers to beat the Saints even if you expressed doubts about the game. I think if you just toned down some of your posts a bit and/or don't continue aggressively posting that opinion in the same or multiple threads, people will respond better. A lot of us are still recovering from the Fields' crew negativity a few weeks ago that was everywhere and may be reacting a little based off that. These are just my 2 cents for whatever they're worth, fan to fan, friend to friend. Go Panthers!!!

This is what I'm thinking. If we can reach 20 points we'll win. Maybe fewer but at 20 I'll feel comfortable. 20-17 Carolina Dallas averages less than 3 yards per carry and totals less than 60 yds for the game.
