@rayzor I think this best sums up the problem. You and others don't like when we complain about the hate and we don't like having every thread full of hate. There are threads specifically about hating Rhule. If it stays there then we can ignore it as we don't open them. If threads were moderated to stay more on topic then the problem would be solved for both groups and we can stop fighting each other all the time. The Huddle would be much more enjoyable for everyone I think. Cheers!

It's impossible when you read it in every thread each and every day. It's like saying ignore the sky. The only way to ignore it is to not come here which I do from time to time when it gets too unbearable. And you have trouble ignoring the few people who complain about the hate. It's you that makes those posts, no?

This. I have criticisms too and I don't mind criticisms but the redundancy mostly by the same people basically just saying the same things over and over again. THAT is what irritates people and NOT legitimate criticisms. But when it gets to the point that every thread is hijacked by the same people with the same ol' song and dance it really takes away from the enjoyment of the site for a lot of people. Then, people who try to approach things more rationally get called Rhule lovers for defending him but sometimes it's not defending him it's just trying to bring the conversation back from angry, lunatic land. I know I have Rhule in my name, that's because I joined right after we hired him and I thought is was clever and better than any other name I could come up with but that doesn't mean I'm 100% convinced he's the right guy. I also don't believe 2 seasons is enough time to make that decision. I don't give up on anything easily which is why I'm still married after 20 years. There are good things and bad things at this point but I do see our roster improving and our cap space is fixed. I think Baker has a great chance of being our QB for the future because I have seen him play very well in less than ideal situations. I like the coaching changes and I like that Rhule physically looks ok. Last year he looked bad and I was seriously concerned for his health as a human being. I want to wait until this season happens before blaming him for everything bad that happens in the world. Those types of posts come from angry, lunatic land. People just need to chill out a little. I think that's all people are trying to say when they complain about the hate. It's not criticizing when every post is about how bad, stupid, fat, etc. another person is. That IS hating. There's a difference. See above.

Panthers “Dark Horse Playoff Contenders”
Panthers Rhule replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
If CMC stays healthy all season I'm going with 10-11 wins this season. When we have him, we have won. Especially under Rhule. That's why are early season record is so much better than our late season one. Plus our O-line is clearly better already. I expect us to be able to run the ball and that will open things up. With CMC all season? It's playoffs baby. -
Panthers “Dark Horse Playoff Contenders”

That stretch won't be as hard as imagined. Every year people make the same mistake of thinking last year's good teams will still be good. Not all of them will be. I expect TB, SF, Arizona and LA won't be as good as you think they'll be. I honestly expect TB to crash and burn this season and Arizona has a prima donna problem and SF has a QB problem most likely. LA is good but Stafford has been abused most of his career. If they lose him they are not the same team. -
A MUCH more difficult and interesting question and discussion would be "what is the best starting WR?" or just who should make the team in general. We decided the OL months ago.
-
I think this is why the QB competition was not only a good idea but also important. It's giving Mayfield the opportunity to make the team his and it looks like he's doing that. The team is starting to believe in him and look to him as a leader. That's exactly what we want to happen.
-
I agree and I also believe Mays looks like a future starter already.

Miami Vice is coming for your QB.

Yeah, you don't sound personal at all. Just solid facts and science. I see it clearly now. Really? Just read through this chat for examples that contradict that statement and I'm sure you will find many other examples on every thread you've posted in for the last 5 months.

Great new staff. Rebuilt OL that looks very promising. WR core that looks better than any we've see in years. A young QB with a playoff win and a chip on his shoulder who's playing very well so far. A good looking secondary and LBs who look better than expected. Our main players have just outplayed the .Comms and Pats who are potential playoff teams based off of last season. Are the reasons acceptable to you these days or do you still feel the need to express your hatred for our HC some more? What happened? I don't know but I do know that it will eat you up inside. I know you a little bit and I like you but man, lately it's just all hate from you. Relax. Let it go. It's supposed to be fun.

I agree with everything except the last part. I think he's getting his reps in case Darnold is traded and Walker has to be our back-up this season.

I don't really believe it's 90% of everyone here, just the ones who post 10-20 times a day. A lot of people don't post but I see them pie positive comments when they come around. Which isn't so often likely because of the negativity. I post sometimes when something interesting is happening but I also post less than I would if most conversations didn't always end with the same people finding another reason to spew the same old things. Sometimes it's just too much for me.

Did you even listen to what he said? I was surprised to hear him say that, honestly. I really respected that. I also saw many players and many team leaders nodding their heads and looking like they believe in the process. Yes. Rhule failed last season and he looked unhealthy for it. He was obviously trying to do too much. I don't know what happened but it's clear to me that someone pulled him to the side because I see a different coach this season. He's still awkward in front of the camera but he's much more relaxed and he looks much healthier. He has an experienced staff that know what they're about and he can just be the HC. People may hate him for the collapse last season, i get being unhappy and critical but not the kind of hatred being expressed around here and unfortunately also from some fans publicly but I believe that problems were identified and addressed. I respect people who can admit mistakes and move on and learn. I respect that he isn't hiding his knowledge of what people are saying and pretending it isn't there. I also like how he defined why he thinks they are wrong. "We have talent. We have competitions at positions we've never had before. If you want more time, more reps, then fight for it. If you want to win, fight for it." I agree with this and it is clear, at least to me, that this is the culture he preaches about. Keep Pounding as a culture and not just pretty words to say and I think he has young leaders who believe in it and are helping him sell it. He may fail, we'll see but he is trying to do what he said he would do from day one and if he does succeed, with Fitty and this new staff I think we can build something great. We had 3 QBs lead scoring drives in PS game 1. Has that ever happened before?

I also loved what Rhule told the team, If you want it you've got to fight for it. He's right. If you don't earn what you get then it means nothing. We are not special. Some of us may think we are and some people may let you think you are but in the end you are not. I like this approach. If you want it, earn it. Man up and take it but do so with integrity and respect. THAT, is building a culture. Or at least the type of culture that I can believe in and support.

I loved the ST coach scamming the players out of a dollar. That was funny.

Panthers release first depth chart
Panthers Rhule replied to Jackie Lee's topic in Carolina Panthers
Thank you. This is unofficial. They just told us yesterday it's too early to make any of those decisions but at least it's another excuse to complain about the same things complained about yesterday and the day before that and the day before that one etc. -
I'm not sure about J.P.P but I know that I'm definitely down with O.P.P! Yeah, you know me.
-
For saying people must earn what they get? Yeah, so stooped And logic and reason enters the conversation This is as it should be. Orrrrr, he's taking off some pressure to give him time to learn the playbook while still getting his reps. Reps with the 2s is the same number of reps but while still in the 1st week on a new team letting him build his confidence a little. Or maybe you know better than all of those seasoned coaches that the Panthers now have. Have you seen Rhule lately? He looks soooo much healthier. There's a reason for that. It's because now he doesn't have to try to do everything. Rhule is the HC. He's not responsible for climate change, or wars, or civil unrest. He's also not responsible for every action made by the Panthers. People don't like Rhule. We get that. Trust me, we get that. We really don't need to be reminded every day. We get that. Let it go. Everyone just let it go. If some of you don't want to be happy and enjoy things for at least as long as it's still possible then fine. All the power to you. But can't the rest us be excited for this brief period of time? I think he was referring to LT. Thank you for being the voice of reason.

The Cardinals have built a solid team but I swear I think Murray is going to keep them down.
