The funny thing about winning is you don't know who's going to win. The only difference between teams is whether or not they win. Surprises happen all the time. Teams we think are good suddenly start losing and vice versa. That's why they actually play the games. How it ends no one really knows so they play the games and they try to win. Canales and Morgan have said they want to build a culture and the last 2 weeks have shown this and the post game interviews show this. Every team has an opponent to play and their job is to beat that opponent and we have succeeded the last 2 weeks. That's the best you can do and hope that winning these games builds the confidence to become the surprise to win more games. Anyone who doesn't want to win is a loser by default and will always be a loser.

That's a loser mentality. We moved up to pick number 1 just the season before last and what did that get us? A point guard. If you think having pick 7 instead of 3 changes our future you're trippin. Most people here were saying 4 or 5 wins this season would be considered a success. Now, we're almost there and some of you want us to lose every game for a roll of the dice. Amazing what some people have become these days.

Yes and there aren't 32 starting QBs in the league either. Too many teams and too many games. The NFL has regressed over the years and game quality is lacking. The other leagues are supposed to be farm leagues but it doesn't matter. You just won't have 32 no matter what they do. The move to super athletes playing QB at all levels has lead to this. It used to be those guys played other positions but now they are QBs who can't really QB. It has a trickle down effect too. OL can't block because they never had to. The fact that in today's game your QB must be able to run at least a little to survive is evidence of this as well. IMO they have ruined the game same as with the NBA. It's been simplified to the point of being boring. Just look at the top 10 this season. Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) Joe Burrow (Bengals) Josh Allen (Bills) Lamar Jackson (Ravens) Dak Prescott (Cowboys) Jalen Hurts (Eagles) Brock Purdy (49ers) Jordan Love (Packers) Justin Herbert (Chargers) Matthew Stafford (Rams) Once we get to number 5 the stats look like this: 167 262 1,845 63.7 7.0 10 8 65 18 84.5 47.5 10 TDs and 8 INTs??? At number 5??? There was a time not that long ago that he wouldn't even be a starter.

They have destroyed the NFL with too many teams coupled with too many games. There aren't enough players to play the game the way it is played now. Most games suck. I'm talking in general not just ours. Most teams suck too. The NFL has become a joke league but it's profitable I guess so just like all the other leagues you don't get what you pay for.

Yeah, they lost to Dallas twice, Washington and NY. All NFC East teams. They should have beaten NY but they missed the short FG at the end.

Shaq has been solid for us over the years but more importantly, he has been dedicated to the team and the area. He stayed here when he could have left. Even as much as we sucked he's still here and still a positive leader and team guy. I wish Shaq a full recovery and look forward to many more years of his presence.

I've always thought what we now call a game manager is actually just a QB. That's the way QBs had always played. Gunslingers are in this category too imo. They are game managers who sometimes just let it fly better than the others. Big arms and not afraid. The Mobile QBs are in this group too. They also manage the game but out of the pocket mostly. Then the scrambling QBs as well. They manage the game focused on the ground. Basically, all QBs are game managers because that's what the QB is supposed to be. If a QB can't manage the game he shouldn't be playing QB. Us Panthers' fans all know this to be true.

All I have to say is wow. What a difference 1 week of real Top NFL QB play for the first time in years makes. I honestly can't remember when I saw a Panthers' passing attack like that. I'm sure there's been a couple of games along the way but my last memories are of Cam. Smells like football. Go Panthers!!!

I actually came here planning to start a Chuba thread for this very reason. Let's take a moment to appreciate the player that man has become. Do y'all remember when he couldn't catch a pass??? Running back Chuba Hubbard finished with 114 rushing yards, his most since Week 15 of the 2022 season, when he had 125 yards in a win over the Detroit Lions. Hubbard added 55 receiving yards, to finish with 169 scrimmage yards, making it the best all-purpose performance of his NFL career.
