  1. GB had the chance to go for the jugular and trotted out a rookie kicker. I feel like I've seen this story before. Setting up a pitiful ending. This 49ers team is going to get dragged by any of the remaining AFC teams the way they played tonight though.
  2. Packers and Love have really pissed away some crucial moments here with the 49ers on the ropes.
  3. Steve Wilks is a good man but mostly meh as a coach. Ron Rivera all over again.
  4. When Jones slipped out of the backfield like that I knew the drive was doomed. What a waste.
  5. Keep complimenting him so far you're the kiss of death.
  6. Nice touchdown. Gotta give Love credit he's looked damn good in these playoffs.
  7. The Texans have a better team than us and yes Ryans is a damn good coach. But I cannot and will not believe that they have the same record or win the same games they did with Bryce Young. There were many throws over the course of their season that Bryce simply could not make. You've got to be able to admit that man. And calling people who correctly acknowledge reality about our #1 pick a cancer because it does not align with the bubble you and some other folks have crafted to deal with the pain of these uncomfortable truths is unnecessary man.
  8. Nobody here that is critical of BY is under any illusions that this team does not have a great many needs beginning with OL and WR first and foremost. But the reality is even when opportunities presented themselves our QB often lacked the phsyical ability to capitalize. That's not hate or just being negative to recognize. It's simply acknowledging what we've seen. As far as CJ I have to say the argument here that you are presenting is classic moving the goal posts. For weeks and weeks now we've heard just how good CJ Stroud's supporting cast and coaching staff is. So if you are saying all of that is subpar or mediocre then you are saying the addition of CJ Stroud is the central contributing element that got them into the position to compete in the playoff game they were in tonight. Just take a breather and admit you have blinders on to a degree too.
  9. The key difference between us and the Texans is they just got shut down by a Super Bowl contender while our offense looked like deep fried ass cheeks against teams like the Bears and Jaguars. We played down to the level of what was supposed to be inferior competition and Bryce Young was just as responsible for that as the oline and receivers. You guys are being really disingenuous trying to mask that truth. Just take a break.
  10. I'd be fine with Mike MacDonald. Bring some of that nasty to both sides of the ball. DeMeco Ryans has brought that kind of swagger to his team.
  11. Well so much for the huddle cope that the Texans have a really good oline. It's serviceable but that's about it.
  12. Knowing that Dan Morgan was an integral part of this mess is not encouraging. Of course he could go on to being a really good GM somewhere else. But this franchise really needs a complete shakeup in the player evaluation department overall. If that doesn't happen I do not expect our dismal ability to spot talent to suddenly change dramatically just because Fitterer is gone. The man who was constantly in his ear is still here and he will undoubtedly be in Dan's ear often. All I can do is hope for the best either way.
  13. This a tough ass test for the Texans. The Ravens have a great deal riding on this game with how they've been in the playoffs as of late. Especially Lamar. Hopefully Houston at least make things interesting.
  14. 677e495b-d996-4178-a7ec-2bdf8c8e32ef_1.mp4 Psst... It's Slowik.
  15. The whole "Stroud would suck here just as bad as Young" logic really is getting stale and few other QB's taken first overall would get the same benefit of the doubt.
  16. What are his strengths from college though? He had an awful deep passing completion % at Alabama that has translated to the next level regardless of all other circumstances. He needs to have a phenomenal offseason. First order of business is ditching the weight watchers diet and living in the gym. Next order of business is he needs to be connected at the hip with his receivers to develop as much rapport and continuity as possible. While all this is happening we need to be leaving no stone unturned in rebuilding this OL and bringing in more weapons for him. I sincerely hope all this happens. The alternative is bleak as hell. We'll see.
  17. I'd honestly be very surprised if Harbaugh actually took the Falcons job. What's the allure? Looks like he's using the NFL as a bargaining chip again. But hey anything can happen I guess.
