  1. I'm legitimately howling that this got you to login. As if you couldn't Google Davis Mills playoff record yourself or that I would make it up. Get a grip.
  2. Is crapping on CJ Stroud who already has 2 career playoff wins going to make any of our QB's any better or...? Even one of the Texans backup QB's has a playoff win. I mean hey if you get your jollies off dunking on that do your thing but going around crying about others not knowing football because they don't cosign whatever is you're doing is toddler behavior.
  3. They struggled against the Falcons but before that they started out 4-0 and only lost to the Patriots by 3 points while we flat out got wiped off the field by that same team. They're coming off a bye and looking for a get right game. Don't mistake this for a cakewalk. The best thing going for us right now is it's a home game but if our offense has a repeat of wasting drives like they did last week against the 0-6 Jets it might be over quick.
  4. Revisionist history. Virtually no one in the NFL sphere was saying this when they drafted him. Many agreed he would be a project to develop slowly over the course of a few years.
  5. Unfortunately that's what's available out there right now. Sure hope Dan Morgan is learning something.
  6. It's less of an uphill battle to build a redemption story when you have the physical tools. He also has a playoff win. Honestly amuses me to see people downplaying him considering what we've become accustomed to at QB over the course of 37 games.
  7. The only question now is how long does it last. Rico is a hell of a runner but staying power for RB's just isn't what it used to be anymore.
  8. Obviously he's strugged heavily at times. Hopefully he continues to play better. Regardless at the end of the day his position is dependent on a passer being able to capitalize on every throw on the field. When there are opportunities for plays to be made but the QB won't or can't pull the trigger or simply can't get the ball there that is a big problem too. We need to see development in multiple facets of this passing game and until we see that being created by the most important position on the roster the onus cannot be solely placed on the wide receivers.
  9. The man is a stud and a leader. I would hate to see his best years go to waste. We need matching energy from more of our offensive counterparts.
  10. 37 NFL games into the career of a first overall pick and we're still relegated to circulating highlights from Alabama.
  11. I agree with this completely. There are throws he just won't make and that is across nearly 40 games.
  12. I just don't see any point in getting your hopes up. If Dan Morgan were actually as concerned about the QB room as much as many fans here are he would have done literally anything more than the effort that was essentially a shrug this year and last year.
  13. It's unfortunate he got injured. Of course he's banked just under $40 million here so as an NFL player he'll be alright in the long run.
  14. The best compliment I can give him at this juncture is at least he hasn't been turning the ball over lately like he had been before. That's it. I really wish there was objectively much more I could say about how much of a dynamic game changer our #1 pick is heading into midway of his third season as a starter. But there's just no meat on the bone there. Just have to accept reality and see what decisions this franchise makes going forward down the line.
  15. The FO for the last three years now have gone out of their way to have a QB room of basically nothing. I would be surprised if a move were actually made.
  16. There has been bickering at some level about the team in every season including our best seasons. At some point it is going to have to click for the folks who want to try and police one another. It doesn't help it never has helped and it never will and it is the same across any other fanbase in any other sport.
  17. It's a road win which has been glaringly rare in these parts for some time now so I'll take it. That being said. The Jets had the 10th pass defense and the 23rd run defense. Honestly we're lucky we even reached the end zone the one time we did. 13 points 138 passing yards at 5.5 yards per pass against an 0-6 team is more of the same extremely obviously unsustainable circumstances the fanbase has continually gone back and forth over in the Bryce Young era. We're nearly 40 games deep here folks.
  18. The only answer is silver or black.
  19. If we can't even sniff the end zone against an 0-6 team then we need to rethink everything.
  20. Passing game is putrid for multiple reasons but unfortunately it begins with the centerpiece.
  21. Corbett over Mays and Chubba over Rico? As much as faces change here the tendencies remain.
  22. On the road against a winless team. It's either going to go really well or really bad. Either way it will be entertaining.
