  1. The biggest Teddy Bridgewater defender of 2020 calling others sheep. fuging classic.
  2. The key will be getting the Saints offense off the field on third downs and sustaining drives ourselves. They are 8th in third down efficiency while we are 25th.

  4. Crazy that with all the emphasis on media engagement and how many people they have involved with that they would go with a decision like this. Maybe worry about the product on the field so we're not a doormat in the division before throwing out team traditions like that.
  5. Mike Davis DJ Moore Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel combined for 509 touches last year. If you want Moore Anderson and Terrace or Chuba to get near that kind of yardage that's going to be tough with our best offensive threat in the mix as well. But Joe has to find a way and scheme around this oline they rolled the dice on.
  6. The '21 pass rush is truly a sight to behold. Please do not squander this talent with an inconsistent offense.
  7. Conveniently ignoring leading the league in touches just 2 years ago. We get you see yourself as the president of the Christian McCaffrey fanclub but you are emotionally invested in this and it shows.
  8. I'm glad Sam is off to improvement but that three points in the half sticks out like a sore thumb. Just hoping they improve on that significantly bc less than 20 isn't going to win too many games in this passing league.
  9. You said 30 isn't a ton but that's debatable. Averaged over a season it's a record that has stood for 37 years. In 2019 CMC was averaging 25 touches per game which was most in the nfl that season. So yes in this context 30 is very significant. 40 would be unheard of and absolutely absurd.
  10. For reference 492 touches in 16 games is the current nfl record which averages out to 30 per game. Do you know how many games that Tampa Bay team won? Six.
  11. The team we are facing this weekend blew the Green Bay Packers off the field with a running game of Alvin Kamara and a 23 year old undrafted running back who had been on their practice squad since 2020. The notion that young guys have to be brought along at a snails pace or can't be trusted early in the season does have some validity but it isn't universal and it isn't an excuse that will get much rope if we have struggles against the Saints.
  12. Three quarterbacks later and you haven't hung up this username yet? It's been two years guy move on.
  13. I hear the folks saying play your best yadda yadda but here's the thing. We got shut out of the end zone for an entire half. If you're going to run your Ferrari like that you better be getting more returns than 19 points. Against the worst team in the league at home to boot.
  14. He is on pace for 500 touches which would be most in nfl history a record that has been held by James Wilder since 1984. They just paid one of their top wideouts 37 million dollars. Spread the ball around.
  15. You're taking a moral stand over someone whose family has made billions of dollars exploiting the worst society has to offer to the detriment of the general public and future generations of women. Just stop.
  16. Unless Gonzalez is just comically bad this is going to have to be it you can't have a revolving door all season. At some point this staff has to accept they've made their bed with it until '22.
  17. It's time for the Gano and Butker folks to move on.
  18. We purposely kept ourselves out of the end zone of the worst team in the league for an entire half so we wouldn't give the Saints extra game film?
  19. Jacobs had 306 touches last year through 14 games. McCaffrey had 403 in what was considered his monster season in 2019 and is now on pace for 510 touches if he averages 30 per game like he did on Sunday. If you want to convince yourself other teams force their offense through their RB1 be my guest but find my some examples bc that one isn't it.
  20. Actually the redzone woes were present throughout last season too so that is a trend that has followed us into this year unfortunately and remains a thorn in our side until shown otherwise. Hopefully they show much better results against the Saints.
  21. They'll get the benefit of the doubt when they actually win something in our division.
  22. Raiders just beat one of the better teams in the league in overtime while Carolina was held to 3 second half points by the worst team in the league but pat yourselves on the back fellas
  23. Of course we disagree that's fine. But what you are missing is Jon Gruden clearly has a different philosophy on the whole. His team had 82 rushing yards total but the Raiders are very plainly a passing team like much of the league. They got their team deep into OT not by running their rb into the ground but by spreading the ball around. Waller was their go to more often than not but they had other skill players they could lean on. Look I try to speak to Panthers fans about this but the emotional connection some of you hold with McCaffrey is too great. It's Cam Newton all over again. We will have plenty of answers this weekend I hope we are victorious.
