  1. Greg Olsen's presence was one of the few bright spots from that game.
  2. I assumed surely he would get some limited action against the Eagles but nope. Now it is one of those I'll believe it when I see it situations.
  3. Undrafted never played before. If Deonte and this guy both see the field soon I will be surprised.
  4. That's cute. We both know you read them if you can find the opportunity to habitually poop on them like your pal hubby.
  5. Shoulda woulda coulda. They were a 1 win team motivated to win while we folded even when they tried to give us the game.
  6. Unacceptable from the interior of the line obviously but one thing I noticed from the loss was Sam didn't seem to be moving around the pocket or utilizing his mobility much like he had in previous games where he was pressured and escaped and either threw it away or tossed a completion. He just stood there and ate sacks or he threw the ball directly at defenders even with time. I'm not talking about every instance bc some of those were instant pressure where he had no chance but there were possible opportunities. He could very well be getting David Carr'd before our eyes.
  7. Snow definitely isn't perfect. But I don't think Phil is the one who decided for us to punt on 4th and 2 and let the Eagles get up the field and score a field goal on us. We had many opportunities given to us by the defense but we either let the qb get beat up with odd playcalls or he threw costly interceptions like he has throughout his career. Snow isn't on the list of concerns rn. The coordinator on the other side of the ball though is a different matter entirely.
  8. Nobody is going anywhere or jumping ship. People are still here talking you just don't like what they have to say. That's too bad.
  9. If you want to dunk go ahead we're just people discussing football. You're trying to make this exclusively about Tom bc I used that as an example but he is not the only quarterback that has had success throwing under pressure. Sam Darnold has never been a great qb or had a good season as a starting qb yet and he just had yet another career worst start against an inferior opponent at home not just bc of the line but bc he made bad decisions with the football even when he had time just as he did in NY. As others have noted there are plenty of opportunities left for him to show us something better but to make it all about the oline when we have seen glimpses of bad Sam through the first 5 games with some costly turnovers negated by our defense and finally culminating in one of the worst home losses I can recall is akin to burying your head in the sand. We need Sam to pull a 180 from whatever that was Sunday but I'm not expecting miracles.
  10. Even if he throws to Thomas who does not get out of bounds he gets minimum 5-10 yards and the Panthers had three timeouts. It was not a do or die situation for Sam to throw a laser into triple coverage. He barely even blinked and the game was over. Either the pass rush got to him or he's not made the strides we thought he did but it is one of the worst decisions I have seen a qb for the Panthers make and I've watched Jimmy Clausen and Kyle Allen play quarterback.
  11. Some of the same issues are present and will probably hold us back but it was to be expected. Playoffs are a possibility but I'm going to be realistic about our chances in the East. All I ask is they make it worth watching. At least we have the Hornets to fall back on should the Panthers keep doing what they do.
  12. I wouldn't pencil in any team as an easy or average opponent. We just lost to a below average team at home.
  13. Another day another round of bitter hubby spamming every post with poo.
  14. He's been compared with Pat Mahomes multiple times in different threads here in the last 24 hours bc of the oline despite the fact Mahomes leads the league in touchdowns. Brady may be the goat but he's an old man whom most of us thought was done last year when he was throwing pick sixes to start the season. Darnold is a fourth year 3rd overall pick looking more and more like the bust he was in NY and if you got a problem with him being held to a standard not to directly lose us games maybe football isn't your sport. I've seen the most pitiful excuses around here in the last day or so and it's a joke. He is tied for third in interceptions and 5 of those have been within two games. He needs to get much better as a passer regardless of our oline.
  15. This is direct pressure from the middle of the line in the quarterbacks face yet it resulted in a 61 yard touchdown pass. Sam Darnold threw a game sealing pick toward a receiver surrounded by three defenders from a clean pocket. Quit with the excuses he isn't a rookie anymore.
  16. The longer throw was in triple coverage get a grip. Zach Wilson is a rookie Sam is in his fourth year still making the same mistakes. Raise your expectations.
  17. He's familiar with losing and unlike fans like you he isn't content with it. How offensive!
  18. I agree losing to a one win team at home and only putting up 15 points is extremely embarrassing.
  19. We wish it was just the third quarter but the staff sat on a two point lead well into the fourth. They also clearly wanted to take the ball out of Sam's hands for a time after the second pick. If we had a better oline maybe we could have continued to run the ball successfully with Chuba and win the game but when your qb is reverting back to dumpster status it's not going to end well.
  20. Facts don't care about your feelings. Do you have any thoughts on the play or are you just going to complain that people are speaking about it? Maybe you should go start your own fan community you can call it positive thoughts only.
  21. Same person who brought in Teddy and Sam. So far looks like Pat Meyer is in over his head.
