  1. I don't really have any issue with it if it is a situational thing temporarily. If Cam is good with it and it's working let's see how it goes.
  2. Yeah I agree but these are issues they have to grow through they just need to chill on the hero ball. It's a long season though and at the end of the day we're a young team just hoping to have an opportunity to compete in the playoffs.
  3. Disappointing for it to be that close at the end but they're still making progress.
  4. Thrilled to see them pouring it on in the first half for a change. They're making these home games count. Melo is a cheat code when his shot is on. Crazy he is only 20 years old.
  5. The post received 6 poos not 20 just fyi. People are allowed to enjoy the game after several miserable weeks.
  6. If the sight of an athlete showing some emotion on the football field has you spending your morning melting down it might be time to question if modern sports are actually for you.
  7. It's good to have people show you who they are and where they stand. If you rewind the tape back to August folks tried their damndest to prop up Sam and defend him when the staff kept treating him like a delicate newborn. Nobody said poo about his leadership through all the turnovers and horrific play. Suddenly now one game in we're right back to that narrative. Don't let up on this foolishness.
  8. Why don't you explain it to us. When was the last time this franchise had a "leader" at qb in your eyes? You want to make this conversation about that lay it all out there then.
  9. Just a few weeks ago our starting qb was throwing to the other team more often than his own and was arguably the worst starting qb in the league. Live a little and try having some fun.
  10. Idk I hear what you're saying and why you would consider that but I view it as Rhule adapting and learning how to be a coach for big personalities and also learning how to lead a group of men as opposed to college kids. As fans we've always talked about how Ron could have been much more if he had not been stubborn about different things over the years. We know he's made mistakes but my hope is that Matt Rhule can become the coach we need if he is willing to humble himself and acknowledge faults and move forward with that purpose in mind. We'll see.
  11. Ikr. Who do these people think they are talking about sports? What a couple of cool freethinking bros you two are.
  12. Even when Sam had time and a clean pocket he threw some of the worst picks I've ever seen into double triple and even quadruple coverage. PJ wasn't mistake free but he played night and day better than Sam. Your lame attempt at an intelligence swipe doesn't change reality.
  13. Barnidge is bitter damn. Someone has to tell Gary being a generic facebook or comment section hater isn't podcast worthy. Good luck finding listeners.
  14. Yeah I concur with others about risk of injury after what happened to Cam. But everyone in that locker room with Ted might not feel the same way when they go over the tape from that game and that's part of being the leader on offense. That's the job.
  15. Somehow you managed to one up the first post with this. You're practically dunking on yourself rn. It's amusing.
  16. PJ was getting the ball out on time and had rhythm with his receivers. Do you think it's just a coincidence we ran all those slants and Robby Anderson suddenly had great hands again?
  17. From a gamesmanship standpoint you are right but Ron also already knows the obvious after last night's game and will be planning for Cam regardless.
  18. Can you two please keep your politics out of my football and take this to the tinderbox?
  19. Unbelievable irony in this statement from one of the leaders of the Sam Darnold defense force who still won't even address the Patriots loss.
  20. It's a shame people post stuff like this after a blowout road win. This man wanted to give Sam Darnold three years to develop here. He would be perfectly fine just being a mediocre non-threatening football team again if the qb doesn't challenge his own preconceived notions.
  21. The ball did reach DJ's hands. He was mugged so he didn't haul it in obv. But for a 32 year old qb that has been with the team less than a full week he got us closer than the previous 24 year old qb who sailed balls over receivers heads or out of bounds consistently.
  22. PJ wasn't without flaws yesterday but he stood tall in the pocket and made some really good throws. Even with the few gaffes that's the best we've seen in weeks from a Panthers qb. The guy doesn't deserve the hate he has received here especially when you consider who he took the reins from.
  23. Doesn't do any good to try and rehash this back to your corners and hills to die on mentality with #1. This is a much different Cam. He has a different role and a different mentality. Embrace it with him. The window for this group is open but who knows for how long. I'm just glad to see a revitalized and now cohesive unit. Where we go from here who knows but based on yesterday we can say we at least know this team has some fight in them again. As long as that remains we have a shot against anyone.
