Fantastic road win. We all want Gordon to play like that more often hopefully he will. But for the moment give credit where it is due.

Player(s) and coaches. It's all about consistency. If you're oline is getting beaten to a drum week in and week out and heavily penalized and your defense is giving up chunks of yards at a time at home and you're getting outclassed by other coaches and you're qb is struggling then own it all or none. That much failure is indicative of a larger problem. Arians Belichick and Tomlin are winners in this league. Rhule is not yet.

First off no one player is above any criticism. Cam made mistakes that lost us the game he knows it and he has owned up to it like always. That being said any Panthers fan who has been following the team this season and has seen the pressers is going to rightly call shenanigans on throwing players under the bus publicly now. If he was going to go this route he should have been doing so all along bc there has been blame to go around. Him and his staff included. This is a really bad look this late in the season and you see fans in the replies rightly so calling it for what it is. Good on Ellis for speaking on this.

Obviously we can't absolve Fitterer he deserves his share of criticism. But this move in particular based on what we know now was all Matt Rhule. If he had went to Baylor or Temple he would still be here.

Hasson Reddick… what are you going to offer him?

If this is the new argument then we need to just switch gears and put all our resources in the offense bc even with a whole draft and back to back first round picks the defense is still a mess. Also kick the tires on potential trades no one should be off limits. -
An angry and motivated Bills team at home against a defense that was just gashed by the Falcons. Even without Allen this will probably get ugly fast.
-
This offense can become at minimum decent and formidable again with real NFL caliber coaching and a few new olinemen. We are not at all likely to achieve this with Rhule and his college cronies sad to say.

You mean politics that don't fit your own agenda. Politics I like GOOD. Politics I don't like BAD. Neanderthal thinking in modern times.

There is some legitimate criticism to be had about his effort at times. But it is tough to adequately judge that based on the shitshow that has been our offensive system. We're already down one offensive coordinator and we have been through five different qb's since he was drafted. Six if you count Cam returning a second time. If anyone here thinks the best receivers in the league would thrive and wouldn't lag from time to time under those conditions they are delusional.

Haason is one of the few players on our defense that seems to truly give a poo. He's a priority to retain no doubt. -
When the Panthers are trailing in the 4th under Rhule

Matt Rhule trying to spin the state of the team to the media: -

Cam himself said he should have just fell on it which should surprise no one he took the blame that's the kind of teammate he's always been. Chuba takes some blame as well. But it all begins with Elflein doing things our oline has been all along which is just being awful. If he doesn't Cheddar Bob the quarterback we're likely in the redzone.

Turnovers are obviously a big issue but just like the discussion of wanting to run the ball more it goes hand in hand with how our defense is doing. And for the last several weeks the defense has been a sieve forcing the offense into obvious passing situations allowing opposing defenses to shut down our already predictable and anemic offense. Rhule chose Joe Brady he chose Jeff Nixon he assembled this oline and he chose to let our power back walk knowing CMC already missed significant time last season. Most of this is self inflicted and the excuses will continue to be met with eye rolls.
-
Might as well. Sadly we already are. Fleeced by the Jets in a trade for the worst starting qb in the league and now the worst team in our division...again.
-
Well yeah nobody thinks Cam is our franchise guy they just recognize the predicament we are in. Never should have signed Teddy definitely never should have made the Darnold trade but pickings and our resources are slim now.
-
Definitely possible but we hear that most years. It's still very early. I guess it's just a matter of perspective. We've been kicking the can down the road on both left tackle and quarterback for years now. Should have made our move for one the last two years. It is insanity that we haven't. But there are no guarantees about who will be there available to us in 2023 either.
-
It's either that or Sam Darnold for 19 million. Take your pick

Lmfao he's been up all morning digging through posts. Rent free

Ofc this is a pantherclaw thread he was waiting for this moment lol. We know what Cam is and isn't at this stage in his career. If we bring in a rookie from the draft let him sit and learn from Cam and build up this O.

All is back to normal in Charlotte sports again

Go cry to Teddy anime boy.

Well we had to figure with the players we've been missing we would run into this kind of a night eventually. We play on but the Bulls can postpone games. The NBA loves their small market teams.
