Their idea of addressing the oline was signing two discarded backups on the first day of free agency who were two of the worst linemen in the league. They cared so much about the oline and the health of their quarterbacks they went all in on their secondary instead. I simply do not understand how anyone can take them at face value now. This should have happened last year. In truth it should have began in 2020. They get no pat on the back for singing this song now.

Meanwhile they tried to trade for any corner available. How do some of you still gobble this stuff up? It's one thing to look on the bright side and another to just put on a blindfold.

It's a start but it's the early years of Ron Rivera firing his staff all over again.

The issue with Fitterer is nobody can know what he could or couldn't be on his own bc he accepted a role here as for better or worse a yes man to Matt Rhule. Knowing he doesn't have full control shouldn't be a reason to just absolve him of his part in this disaster especially given the resources we have used in a short time. Everything I've seen and heard so far does nothing to indicate the power dynamic in our front office will be changing at all. I don't see anything from any angle here that is encouraging for the future if things remain as they were.

These refs always with the sketchy calls against the Hornets... LaMelo clutch.

Matt Rhule's brother-in-law chimes in.

It would just be lipstick on a pig at this point.

Three 5 win seasons in a row will do that to a fanbase. If some folks are just "happy to be here" after 26 seasons and 7 successful years more power to you I guess but you can't blame anyone for losing patience. -
Ah yes. Gotta keep the Temple crew intact.

The 2022 class is certainly a risk but it's that way every year regardless of the hype train one or two prospects may garner or how some may go overlooked. I assumed it was a typo. Again I'm fine building the interior of the oline but i don't think we have to do so exclusively through the draft. My preference route has been draft I wanted a QB last year and we once again went defense. Nothing at all against Horn but that pick will be discussed for years to come. I'm just exhausted with putting things off and we've done that with two of the most important positions on the team with QB and left tackle. This franchise will wear you down.

The Bucs were at least competitive even with Jameis. I don't even like Arians but he is a hall of fame coach compared to our current staff. It was so bad even Teddy Bridgewater correctly called them out.

Why would any decent quarterback willingly join up with a lameduck coach and the worst team in the NFL with a historically bad offensive line?
-
I'm done with these awful attempts to acquire other teams cast offs. You want to wait until 2024 to draft a quarterback? I would be willing to go OL this year and let whomever start for the upcoming season but why do so many fans think everything will just fall into place next year or the year after for our franchise? The NFL is not going to do us any favors and we have shown time and time again with now two different coaches we can't even lose the right way if we know there is a top pick on the horizon. I have zero faith we will magically back our way into a franchise quarterback playing the waiting game and sitting on the sidelines. But that's just me.

When Scott Fowler is saying these things you know it's a very sad mess.

Flores and the Fins flat out wiped the field with the Panthers and he still got canned. Wow.
-
If we are actually serious about still trying to turn this guy into a franchise quarterback that may be the final straw for me for awhile. The Jets of all teams learned and if we can't we deserve to suck.
-
Yeah let's see if the QB now entering his fifth season in the NFL will all the sudden not look like the bust he has throughout the rest of his career
-
He's a backup at best same as the other two quarterbacks on our roster. This desperate need to make Sam seem less awful is downright pitiful when you consider Jets fans did this exact routine for literal years and could tell you firsthand how ridiculous you sound. Accept reality and stop shitposting.

We were the only team foolish enough to give up what we did for him last year and we bid against ourselves. No way on Earth anyone gives up more than a 4th or 5th to take him off our hands and even that would be very generous.
-
Last I checked the Panthers got blown out...again. But yay some folks got to see Darnold make a few meaningless plays and then fumble the game away.

These same folks wanted to extend Kyle Allen during that fools gold win streak. They'll fall for anything.
