  1. Melo staying here and maximizing his potential should be the highest priority. I'd love to keep Bridges but someone has to be the odd man out to build this roster right. You're right about Gordon now we have an anchor holding us back. I don't think JB will last past another season. Eventually Spectrum Center will start looking like BOA with the Panthers these days. Somehow folks saw fit to call out the fans in the midst of this stinkfest stretch they've been on. That damn sure isn't going to help.
  2. Need a coach that knows how to get the best out of young players and will actually play them. We overpaid a star who is having the same injury plagued season he has on his last two teams. We have a possible young superstar in the making who is only scratching the surface and I honestly wouldn't blame him if he bolted as soon as he gets the chance. I wouldn't bet the house on this mediocrity changing as sad as it is to admit. But first and foremost they gotta get a different coach. This can't continue.
  3. That's hilarious. I would love to get a reaction from that Washington fan that showed up here after the game last year talking up Heinecke as the next franchise QB.
  4. "A place where I can continue to win" pretty much eliminates us from the jump.
  5. Yeah I don't buy this either. Seattle is more likely than Pittsburgh to make a play for Watson.
  6. Pickett checks all the boxes but Willis isn't even an option? Man ten years later and this stuff still hasn't changed
  7. Russ wasn't a runner he was great at scrambling and extending a pass play. Mahomes got beat up in the pocket as of late. RG3 was abused no doubt and that's why no QB with a choice wants to go to Washington. Luck took a bad beating behind some bad olines. You are extremely against QB's that are even remotely considered mobile. We get it by now every thread is the same take. There's plenty of time between now and the draft and odds are more likely that we don't take Willis than we do but if people want to discuss it have at it. All this hand wringing about mobile QB's is just becoming numbskullery. We may very well give up the farm for one in Watson. Accept it or maybe check some other teams out idk.
  8. Just draft him and save ourselves a ton of extra resources from a Watson trade.
  9. Gordon Hayward has gone full Weekend at Bernie's on us.
  10. Anyone who says no will come back eventually if the team is winning again. American values have been front and center for years. If people truly gave a damn major sports would have been suffering long ago. Instead viewership is way up.
  11. Darnold is toast. I don't think the team would survive 17 more games of him without serious fractures in the locker room. Tepper Rhule and Fitterer are going to do something big like it or not.
  12. Complain about the QB class complain about not wanting Watson some fans don’t know what they want. No matter what we have to take a chance and make a choice. I'd rather just roll the dice on Malik.
  13. Charlotte sports is just one big OOF these days
  14. Robby still doesn't affect DJ and he can be traded easily. Even the Patriots know this team is a dumpster fire and Robby isn't as bad as last year would indicate. You have people shitting on Moore too. Now all of that is an effect that rippled through the whole team. From Sam Darnold. It's why Anderson was all smiles even at the sight of a known washed version of Cam Newton. Even at a shell of himself he brought more energy than Sam could ever hope for. Everything else was doomed to be tainted eventually when we made that dumb trade for him and picked up his option like we were geniuses.
  15. It's crazy that the Broncos have a SB trophy already in the last decade at our expense and they're giving up a haul for a known elite quarterback while we swung for the fences at Sam fuging Darnold and with a straight face the whole time like we really got ourselves a prize. And some fans still give the benefit of the doubt to these decision makers!
  16. At least they have a Super Bowl trophy to fall back on. We got nothing but sad memories. Fug em' let em' rot.
  17. Why are you so pressed over a former XFL QB? I didn’t want Sam Darnold and I'd love to get a real QB in here but we have donkeys for management who are scared to develop a rookie.
  18. I didn't think he would actually do it but damn good for him honestly. The Broncos had a solid team last year even with Teddy. Not good for us though that's for sure. The Seahawks just lost a future hall of famer because they couldn't build an oline around him and we hired a guy to be our GM who was there through the thick of it.
  19. Whining? He would be fighting for a 2nd or 3rd string spot on any other teams roster if he didn't go to Temple and you know it. Appreciate the input
  20. He'll have a seven million dollar cap hit in the final year of the contract but he has not been particularly good beyond his first year. If you get a real QB and do something with the oline people will have less to say about this. Those who choose to be a mouthpiece for the FO are free to express their takes the same as anyone who is a skeptic.
  21. Some Panthers fans could eat a poo sandwich and convince themselves it was filet mignon. I don't think anyone was arguing it was a cap killer kind of contract but the production has not been there nor the consistency. So in that regard another on brand Panthers deal from the same team that made it first priority to get PJ Walker under a new contract.
