For all the talk of Hurney's drafts Fitterer’s don't look much better. And a Hurney pick is holding down our defense right now in Brian Burns.

Yeah our cap guy is definitely the one calling the shots and making Brian Burns disgruntled. Poor Scott Fitterer just can't do anything here.

It's not just about Burns. I guess we are on different wavelengths in this convo. No problem agree to disagree.

The only way "the trade" would have went down is if David Tepper truly is a bottom tier owner and didn't give a poo about winning. If he approves that trade not only is Fitterer gone within the next season our stadium that so many people complain about being filled with opposing fans is going to be a home away from home for every other team for minimum 2 years. Who is going to pay to watch that when we signal we don't give a fug about winning and wave the white flag while we wait for future picks that aren't even guaranteed top ten? You can acknowledge Fitterer is not living up to the job but also be realistic that trade would have done nothing to save our current roster. In actuality if we dumped Burns we should have dumped Brown and Chinn as well. Then went all in on the offense. That would be the only way to justify it.
