Tepper makes JR look like an all time great owner and that's probably an understatement. Dave and his wife clearly at minimum lightly pushed the "decision makers" toward Young. When your boss and his wife are head over heels are you going to argue? I like Bryce Young on a personal level but the pick was always a gamble and I'm trying to think of a worse first overall pick QB trade the last several years going so badly within the first few weeks of the season and this is looking like Johnny Manziel Browns territory. It's interesting how quickly narratives can flip. Everyone assumed CJ was going to one of the worst possible destinations with a joke of a staff and a roster devoid of any offensive talent while Young was going to a team although doing some reshuffling with the roster a great fit for a rookie QB to be dropped into because they're helmed by an all star staff. Meanwhile Stroud has already thrown for 626 yards and 2 touchdowns at 6.9 YPA while Young is rock bottom in YPA amongst his peers and possibly now sitting because the staff doesn't want to risk his development. Life comes at ya fast.

If it's nothing too serious and they still aren't wanting to play him that trade we made is DOA. Other teams take note on everything and with this you are signifying he is fragile fair or not. You thought opposing defenses were making his life difficult before? Either have the confidence in your rookie QB you started and traded substantial assets for or you wave the white flag. If and when he comes back he's really going to face the fire.

At this point whether it's injury or an excuse to sit the end result is the same it doesn't matter. It's another faceplant for the Panthers.

You can put him on the block but the offers are going to be lowball. For all the talk of him disappearing in games and being overrated I feel like even if we had Bosa he would eventually become apathetic with this franchise too. What the hell is the incentive to ball out every week when (A) your offense is consistently a fuging clown show no matter the coach or the QB and (B) when they can't even agree to a contract.
