  1. It's speculative but you can get the sense they would definitely listen if there were offers. They are putting out hype pieces for Terrace Marshall Jr too. But the more often Robbie makes himself a public story the less likely any team is going to be inclined to inquire about his services.
  2. I wouldn't cut him by any means but you can see why the Jets are much better off without his antics. If he had not gone to Temple he wouldn't be here anyways
  3. Baker has at least won something of note and seen success like winning a playoff game unlike a couple of our highest paid offensive players who have plenty to say despite being amongst the worst in the league. But hate on the guy like he's the problem if it eases the pain.
  4. I'm glad the Hornets didn't pay him all that money but at least Graham is still around the NC area. Unfortunately the only thing to do in Raleigh is get all liquored up. Hopefully he gets it together.
  5. I don't care if you go to games or not that's your business and your choice to funnel your money to Tepper for this current product. But not everyone has to endorse the two New York Jets rejects to be a fan and while you're rambling on about internet tough guys go ahead and poo this post too if it makes you feel better. Enjoy your weekend.
  6. Baker is the least of our worries. We need to take out the Jets trash that is littering a stench cloud in the building.
  7. He's on his third account recycling the same contrarian takes. Could at least mix it up and surprise us from time to time or add some humor.
  8. Ya'll want this to be true but the truth is this org is just an embarrassment. Doesn't matter what he or Sam says neither of them have the value of a bag of doritos around the league. All this does is increase our laughingstock status.
  9. I hear that but Beckham Jr getting a pass has more to do with his talent level than anything. We're dealing with our very own version of drama and bs from a wide receiver but he doesn't have anywhere near the resume to back that up and seemingly nobody wants to acquire his services unlike Odell. We'll see how it works out in the locker room soon.
  10. I can't comment on all that I'm not wading into the abyss here that is microanalyzing his speech or spelling. I don't care how the man expresses himself. Just don't try to sell fans on some sob story. His former team is significantly better off without his and Sam's services. These folks saying oh he's a good teammate for supporting Sam will be one of the first to attack either of them when the games are played and we struggle.
  11. The no win situation began thanks to Matt Rhule choosing to start the foundation of his roster with two players the Jets discarded. The same franchise that has 1 winning season in the last 11 years.
  12. Worst team in the league with two of the worst starters at their positions patting each other on the back. Now that sounds like the new Browns.
  13. Robbie has talent but if the ceiling of that talent were as high as some think (like the guy who mentioned he had almost 2k yards receiving once) there would be a trade market for him and we would have already moved him. Look at what teams have given up for other receivers in trades and salary. And if anyone thinks the team put him up to this acting like a fool groveling over Sam Darnold all I can do is laugh.
  14. Let Terrace Marshall Jr prove why we drafted him in the second round. Robbie can ride off into the sunset with his bestie.
  15. I've given up trying to "read" him based on his social media presence. I don't think even Robbie understands what is going on inside his head. When he initially mentioned a vague reason of sticking up for Sam Darnold I was thinking maybe he's just trying to sell the backpedal on Baker. But now that he is tripling down I think he's just unwell altogether and the odds of him playing out that contract here are very slim. To put this all into further context for why I am reacting this way think of if a player had come out with an impassioned defense of Jimmy Clausen when it was clear we were likely drafting a quarterback in 2011. Make no mistake that is the level of QB play Darnold has been on par with. Overall I just get the vibe this is the crap the Jets saw brewing and this is a key reason why neither of those two are Jets anymore. Now lucky us we have to deal with this soap opera. Thanks Matt.
  16. Oh shut off the sad music already. Even I've defended Robbie in the past but if this man is serious about his loyalty to Sam Darnold they can both hit the bricks and if you've got a problem with that you can head on out with em too.
  17. The Baker Mayfield trade has made him officially cuckoo for cocoa puffs.
  18. I've been falling back a bit on my Rhule mud slinging but recent events are bringing it back. He is responsible for the duo of Sam Darnold and Robbie Anderson the two highly paid players who are top tier at their position only in their own minds. Rhule is back on the shitlist for the time being.
  19. "I will say this with Sam though. I feel like his development was all messed up coming into the league," Anderson continued (3:33). "Look at Pat [Mahomes] and look at Lamar [Jackson]. They didn't play right away. I don't think that Sam should have played right away. Robbie Anderson was quick to talk poo to his own fans when he was playing terrible yet he's actually out here defending Sam Darnold aka the worst starting quarterback in the league like that man pays his salary. Get both these bums out of here.
  20. We'll never get the whole story of that and I have little doubt Baker shares a good bit of blame in it. Let's keep this in full perspective though. Beckham Jr is talented but the man is also a damn lunatic. Never will forget the sight of him intentionally trying to turn Josh Norman into a vegetable on the field.
  21. The trade is and was horrendously stupid no matter the justification they attempt to appease the fanbase with. But that does not mean Williams was a bad pick or does not have potential. He should be good for us. If you can't enjoy some basketball without bias over your favorite college team getting in the way sports are officially not healthy for you.
  22. Joe spoke as enthusiastically about Bridgewater as Rhule did. He had built in familiarity with the Saints offense. Tepper might have pushed for Brady but Joe had plenty to do with Teddy signing here. It's still on Rhule though. He had to put his stamp on the offense after moving on from Cam so quickly. Instead of being patient and drafting his own guy he was stubborn and impatient yet at the same time we were still being fed a story about a rebuild. Just a mess.
