I really don't know if Kon is playing through an injury or not but he's gotta get his head out of his ass regardless.
-
Buddy looked back and took his leg out. I mean I'm a lifelong Hornets fan but that's dicey.

The quality is cheeks. I've had better picture clarity from streams.

Coach Lee can't just keep letting these boys chuck up bricks in the play in. Embarrassing.

Refs already going to work for the Heat.

Kon met that rookie wall at the worst possible time. Gotta shake it off and get the swag back.

This is gonna be a damn slug fest. I loathe the Heat. 8e2127ef-8464-4de5-b629-69e1299af809.mp4

Oh he's definitely made huge strides this year in terms of maturity and leadership. Now we just need him to lead the way as we seek the goal of putting away the Heat. Winning in the playoffs will silence anything.

I don't think it's at all a given that we have players who are good at driving the basket. I guess that depends on your definition. Bridges is 43rd in attempts in the paint Miller is 64th and LaMelo is 66th. We all love to see the lob threat but it's largely miniscule at this point in time. There's gotta be a solution here if LaMelo is to be the centerpiece because this is simply not sustainable if we want to continue to ascend. If he can't drive to the basket then that means we need to add another player to the core who consistently can. That would require moving someone like Miles Bridges. And that's certainly not going to be popular with LaMelo but something has to give here for what we are investing and we need to maximize guys like Miller and Knueppel on rookie deals while we still can. The three chucking is fine when it's working where the issue comes into play is there are no adjustments when it isn't and we just go into a shell and begin to look like the Hornets of yesteryear. That's why the offensive evolution of all involved is critical to us taking the next step. Getting to the play in is nice but we should have our sights set much higher. Right now though they need to take care of business against the Heat. All I ask is that they at least beat those fools. I cannot stand the Heat.

Yes. However there are other options.

Sounds about right for a team that had a bottom 5 passing offense and backed into the playoffs at 4-6.
-
There isn't but it would help if he and his draft scouts would stop targeting the same type of WR. Maybe put extra emphasis on hands and route running instead of constantly chasing RAS. Just a thought...

I think barring some games where he is so hideously bad that the fanbase turns on him and the team has to pull the plug it's a done deal. For better or worse they are all in due to what they gave up. And yes Dan Morgan is absolutely a believer no matter the cope you might read here otherwise.

It's almost like their intentionally only focusing on the worst QB's.

There are 97 NBA players that have more points in the paint than our superstar. That isn't a ref problem.

I don't really get the Cam parallels. Cam was a monster and even with the refs not giving him his due he still ate. Where it finally had an impact was when they let defenses headhunt him. There are probably some refs that don't like LaMelo for reasons people can determine on their own. But I think most of the noncalls are due to us being a small market team and the league and the refs just giving zero fưcks if we continue to exist. At the end of the day it's up to LaMelo to rise above it all. Nobody is out there trying to take his head off. He needs to add some bulk in the offseason assert himself and get physical in the paint and take any fouls that might come along the way and gradually you will see the tide turn. But nothing is going to change for the better for him or the team if he just continues to limit himself to acrobatic threes from halfcourt. That's just the reality of the situation.

Hornets fans are probably the worst homers in the NBA when it comes to LaMelo. Buddy is a supermax player and the entire offense goes through him. If he can't drive to the basket contact or no contact what are we even doing?
-
At this point I just want to defeat the Heat. Anything else is a bonus.

Panthers fans want to pick and choose what they think Dan Morgan was and wasn't involved with in the decision process when Fitterer was making poor moves. I get it. But the 2024 draft tells me Morgan was certainly heavily involved in most of it. Don't have to like it. But it is what it is folks. As I've said before. Learn to separate the former player from the team executive.

50 3PA just to blowout the Knicks bench lol

https://www.espn.com/nba/stats/team/_/sort/avgThreePointFieldGoalsAttempted I think the fanbase due to our hunger for .500 has overrated Charles Lee a good bit. Honestly we saw more complete development offensively under James Borrego.

We're definitely not going to get the benefit of the whistle anytime soon. Teams have certainly been getting more physical with us since that first Pistons loss. We responded with many upcoming wins by playing very physical basketball ourselves. That's what it's going to take. If it means some fouls along the way so be it but the team has to set the tone. But either way we need more offense closer to the rim. We're right there with GS for most 3PA. And the Warriors are also backing their way into a play in game. We shouldn't be wanting to emulate that.
