Panthers "Starting Center" Bozeman Injury Not Considered Serious
frankw replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
You quoted me and each time you've gotten low key more condescending with each post. You seem to have the opinion that there is nothing to see here related to Bozeman today. I hope you're right. But I'm not required to agree with you. Learn to handle it or stop quoting folks bud I didn't bother you. Enjoy your evening. -

They can call it precautionary as much as they like bringing out the cart is not a good sign ever. You struggle to view team matters without Panthers tinted shades and frankly you act like you're related to Matt Rhule so do your thing. -

Did we all just imagine him being carted off the field at camp today? If you don't agree just say that this just asking questions bit is a waste of time for both of us. We both know you are very pro Rhule. That's fine. But the rest of us can see the track record with our oline and it is not pretty. My only hope is Campen can talk some sense into Matt with these lineups. But Pat Elflein still hanging around as our depth at center inspires zero confidence. -

Paradis declined each season since he left Denver and dealt with injuries and his backup was Elflein who is at best a so so backup who also has dealt with injuries. So far it's looking like we'll be holding our breath Bozeman can stay on the field potentially opening the door for more Elflein. We should have drafted a center instead of throwing away picks on long snappers. -
I hear you but I mean at one point we had the worst OL in the league last season. We need to figure out the starting group and let them begin gaining continuity now.

Center looks to be a catastrophe waiting to happen again. It does not seem like we learned from the debacle with Paradis last season. -
If Elflein and Boseman aren't the answer
frankw replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Elflein is your center depth you did a poor job with the position. We aren't doing our starting QB as many favors as the sunshine crew hoped in the offseason when they did a victory lap. Let's hope we can keep Baker upright but those big guys barreling toward him won't be letting up at the last second like on Saturday. -
Even if you overlook the first two bad seasons which directly center around his own decisions as he has been in full control. You cannot just set aside and ignore his 3-9 divisional record. You can choose sunshine and rainbows but you can't just change reality. Sounds like some of those alternative facts we've heard from scatter brained Americans the last several years.

We had a bottom quarterback room last year. Honestly who was worse? This is akin to going to the nearby coinstar machine with the spare change in your pocket.
-
I agree regarding the oline. But Darnold always should have been shown the door he has no future regardless and tanking isn't a real thing not now after recent claims of coaches being offered added financial incentives to lose.
-
People aren't going to want to hear this but we should go ahead and prepare ourselves to see our starting QB take some big hits behind this line because it was never going to go from disaster to perfect quickly. Definitely not the way our head coach likes to play musical chairs. Remember years ago how we used to often talk this time of year about how we have to solidify the position group now so they are better and have had time to gel when the real games begin? Funny how the Rhule fan club justify the opposite of this like it's a good thing.
-
Jordan and Elflein on the field together at all is inexcusable after the mess of last season and fielding the worst oline lineups in years.
-
To you people in the local and national sports media the pro sources who have years of experience in the league and all the fans who are critical are just blinded by their dislike of Matt Rhule. It's all a conspiracy to make him look bad right?
-
Only a few homers expected Corral to become a superstar in his first real action. Rhule has accomplished nothing at this level to get the benefit of the doubt that he knows how to develop a rookie QB in the NFL. You are just doing what you always do making excuses for the decision makers and being a contrarian but everyone else sees it.
-
The college head coach with two 5 win seasons under his belt doesn't know how to develop a young quarterback. Very surprising.
-
That's what happens when you have a highly paid head coach with one season of low level NFL assistant experience who still thinks he's coaching at Temple or Baylor.
-
If the season goes down the tubes and PJ is still here we should just let him start so weirdos will get it through their heads Matt Rhule has absolutely no idea how to evaluate or develop quarterbacks and leans on cronyism to a laughable fault.
-
He's 27 and had his best years in the XFL against nobodies. He just has no future here and total honesty is if he didn’t go to Temple he never would have been offered two contracts. If you want to develop a rookie you don't prioritize PJ Walker getting important reps over a guy you invested resources in to be your future. This staff is just bush league.
-
Pickett 13-15 two touchdowns. If that guy turns into a good QB some of ya'll are just going to need to abandon your accounts because you aren't ever going to hear the end of it.
-
Tbh this should be locked every other bumped thread like this eventually has. One preseason game makes a career the same as one touchdown pass from Sam Darnold makes him a capable QB again.
-
Very real possibility of this.
-
He hit him in his hands. Robbie will get more opportunities but the fact is the best receivers in the league more often than not come down with those passes if they plan on competing for anything meaningful in the NFL.
-
This sounds like what our opponents were thinking last season against Matt Rhule's football team after week 3.
