  1. I hope you don't slink away again to a new account if we struggle. You might as well take the good with the bad SBBlue.
  2. If that's the case I haven't seen it. But if you made it through nine seasons of relentless personal barbs directed at Ron Rivera it's interesting you can't handle two seasons of criticism for Rhule who has yet to identify "his" quarterback capable of leading this team to success.
  3. You login every morning for the sole purpose of pooing posts critical of your Uncle Rhule with his 10-23 record. Don't act like you're any different.
  4. I'm not expecting much out of this game just look competent and carry some momentum into September.
  5. If we're talking a mid round pick sure kick the tires
  6. It's been talked about adnauseum over the years each time of the year around now that the first team offense and especially the offensive line needs reps together as much as possible to get the kinks out. Add in a new OC and a starting quarterback who has been here for only a few months and yes even a blind homer should be able to admit we shouldn't have wasted reps on Sam. If we look sluggish expect the folks acting like this is no big deal to disappear or act deaf dumb and blind about their past remarks.
  7. The average huddler hasn't been paid 63 million dollars to get their ass kicked by Joe Judge and Brian Flores.
  8. Adopting a wait and see approach when assessing the state of a team coming off three consecutive five win seasons that has struggled to build a solid oline across the board for several years is living in reality...
  9. Listen. We're Panthers fans. If you deem a major problem from a year ago fixed and ready to go in August before we've seen any of these men play together or have much time to gel you are setting yourself up for heartbreak. Remember when almost everyone here rejoiced over the Matt Paradis signing? My expectations are and will remain low for the time being because I've seen this story play out before. Results first. Then we will celebrate.
  10. Shooting the messenger isn't going to change the facts. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2021-offensive-line-rankings
  11. At one point in the season yes there is no doubt we had a bottom 3 oline. Sam made horrific decisions with the football but he often had the middle of the line in his lap within a second. If your go to tactic is going to be to call people stupid you could at least attempt basic grammar and spelling. Joe Burrow (no s) is one of the best young quarterbacks in the game now. That's what real talent can do for you and mask deficiencies. It's what Cam did for the Panthers and Ron Rivera for several years. We'll see how far these excuses fly if Baker is eventually having a tough time back there. Hopefully he won't be.
  12. Simms like the rest of these "analysts" go whichever way the wind blows. This should be reason to stop putting much stock in what this guy has to say about QB's moving forward
  13. 31 other teams didn't field the worst OL in the league last season. All this talk about the quality of our OL depth will be put to the test at the expense of Baker's health. I damn sure hope you are right bud.
  14. Elflein Erving Jordan and Daley are all still on the roster. You're latching onto a position coach who will be out of a job same as anyone else if Rhule fails. It's like us bitching about the special teams coordinators all those years under Rivera when our ST was dogshit no matter who was the position coach.
  15. Who has a 63 million dollar contract Campen or Rhule? Campen isn't in charge of practice and deciding which quarterbacks get reps with each group. And Matt Rhule was mishandling the OL months before he got here. No way he gets a pass from the fanbase if the oline is crap this season though so you need not worry about that.
  16. Right but you have to make do with your depth as well and seeing two of your QB's take a beating isn't ideal. He isn't new to any of this though so hopefully Rhule let's him take the reigns and get us on track. We need continuity yesterday.
  17. Well in fairness Campen inherited the worst olinemen on the roster that Matt Rhule and Scott Fitterer brought in. Daley Elflein Erving and Brown who got Corral blown up.

  19. Don't hate Matt Rhule. Don't support or engage in people making fun of his weight or his appearance or all this Fhule nonsense. If we went on to have a winning season and to the playoffs I would acknowledge and be happy he has proven people myself included wrong. But just as Ron Rivera received a great deal of blistering criticism that IMO was worse than what we are seeing now it was always going to happen to Matt too to some degree based on how he dropped his nutsack on the table and threw down the gauntlet with Cam Newton as his first order of business and did one thing after saying another. Following that up with the QB choices so far not even mentioning other factors is plenty justification for the criticism he has received. But I do agree that Fitterer should not get a pass. There's an odd dynamic here with Panthers general managers where fans immediately kick off a bromance of sorts and both Dave Gettleman and Scott Fitterer benefited from that before they had had actually done anything significant. But hey let's hope this team turns the corner. First order of business is capitalizing on the new look NFC South now without Drew Brees and Sean Payton. There should be no excuse not to this year.
  20. The real rub is if Matt Rhule hadn't gotten his jimmies rustled when Teddy Bridgewater called out his offensive coaching staff for ineptitude we would not be saddled with Darnold and this neverending convo about another teams draft failure in the first place.
