Just a friendly reminder about today's victory...
frankw replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
We aren't allowed to discuss things like this why aren't you celebrating the victory over Jameis Winston and Dennis Allen like everyone else? -
He's been a fantasy dud for awhile now since he lost much of his mobility.

The defense can carry the team if this offense can do anything...

I read your posts in Cookie Monsters voice because that's how you type. -
Where the CMC choice routes that made Darnold look good?

Sorry I wasn't aware discussion here was being policed for not being positive enough. -

Is there a particular reason you are presenting this as a negative? Homophobia isn't cool pal. -

Hey you brought up the subject as if people can't recognize deficiencies in a win. 11-24 is still the record and one win or even 3 wins (see last year) does not make a season. We are deeply sorry if talking about that is not convenient for you. Goodnight -

Apparently D'onta Foreman doesn't really exist. Even stone hands fumble machine Chubba Hubbard got multiple carries while Foreman rode the bench. Why did we sign him again? -

You two jerking each other off all night about defeating Jameis Winston and Dennis Allen isn't going to save us from playing poorly against better teams with real offenses but do your thing. -

You two should get a room. -
He's just doing what he always does being a contrarian. FYI he was a full blown Teddy Bridgewater Stan to give you an idea of what you're dealing with here.
-
Neither did Robby Anderson with his fumbles but this is Matt Rhule's team.
-
Poor route running? He's been up and down with his effort going back to last season but things have never been this bad. We can assign blame to the players when they mess up but as others have noted look at the turnaround and results for some teams rosters that were bad and had simialr problems now with a fresh coaching staff. Example the Jaguars. I will definitely check in when you post your breakdown of the game though thanks.

Definitely true that Baker is still in the process of learning the offense as he goes. Probably would have helped not to have wasted practice reps in a farce competition. In year three if the players are continuing to struggle executing it's on the head coach. My fear is this is much more than just not opening up the playbook this is what a Rhule and McAdoo offense looks like and Baker is what the Browns concluded he was when they made his services available. Matt Rhule of all people should know running CMC like a powerback has not worked and will not be sustainable. We must find a real passing attack or this season is already effectively over and no some check downs to Shenault do not qualify. This is why the 49ers game is checkmarked as my first big let's see where we're at game. If Shanahan goes in dry we need to clean house.
-
All the more reason why it's not at all unreasonable to ask why you feel like he hasn't opened things up just yet. I mean we said the same thing last year about Joe Brady and not only did that not happen we got worse and he ended up falling on his sword for Rhule. But my sincere apologies for disturbing you with these things sir that was incredibly rude of me.

Is there a reason you want to talk about wording and not McAdoo's body of work as a coordinator here and elsewhere? We can't play against all world quarterbacks like Jacoby Brissett and Jameis Winston every week. Hell we might get lucky against the Cardinals but with Baker playing the way he has even Kyler Murray is going to get his team on the board while we fart around. But Shanahan will definitely step on the gas and not let up so yeah why wouldn't we talk about matchups like that? Are we settling for just squeaking by the Saints or are we actually wanting to compete in the NFC?
-
Cute cope but we'll be sure to chat again when McAdoo is "opening up the playbook" against the 49ers my friend.
-
Oh yes surely that's why our offense has been dogshit for an entire half multiple times now against backup or injured quarterbacks. McAdoo just has to dust off those wafflehouse menu sized playcall sheets.
-
Baker had 44 yards at the half and a dismal passer rating. He was mostly awful today and Shenault did the heavy lifting for him to shine up his statline a little. We are not repeating this kind of game with these results in the coming weeks if Mayfield can't play better for a full game.
-
There were folks doing taking down names and shouting at skeptics when we were 3-0 this time last year too. It was fun to revisit those threads later in the year and it will be fun to repeat that again.
-
Still feeding that grudge I see. It's sweet to have my own little fanclub.
-
Rhule runs the show everything begins with him. One win against a lousy and banged up Saints team with a head coach worse than ours doesn't change the truths about our own team. Threads like this will disappear when we play more talented teams with better coaching.
-
Sounds good. I guess let's trade DJ Moore who needs that guy anyway.
-
Yeah he's stunk up the joint no doubt about it and after running his mouth and selling t-shirts. He's earned the criticism.
-
Some people have learned nothing from watching this team last year. Not gonna win many games in this league with less than 50 yards passing for an entire half.
