  1. YES! I'm so excited for him. It's a bummer about AT but to see young guys like Coker get a legit look is awesome.
  2. In the span of one week with him on the bench we have gone from the worst team in the league the first 2 games to one of the best offenses in the league even the defense looked better. Morale was up across the board. To currently believe (given all we now know) that he will undoubtedly go on to become a top QB on his next team without question just to spite us is not a take that exists within the bounds of reality.
  3. The locker room said all there is to say on the field against the Raiders. Get what you can get and move on.
  4. He's fun to watch I hope he does well. Also good to see the Bears pulling a Panthers and letting the best QB of the class go right after their pick. On another note. Panthers fans know better than anyone what it ends with when your franchise QB takes too many unnecessary hits no matter how big he is. It takes an accumulative toll. His coaches better address that before they get him banged up or worse. Also see AR.
  5. Credit where it's due to Morgan and Canales had his input as well I'm sure.
  6. Hard pass. He was talking about life after football before he was even drafted and he looks like he can't be bothered out there while his team is getting blown out. Also worth mentioning when the Jags whooped us last season he didn't even play.
  7. Rex Ryan looks like a talking thumb. He makes Terry Bradshaw almost seem vaguely likeable by comparison. His brother is somehow even worse. fug their whole family tree.
  8. Luke like Thomas Davis is just trying to be kind and not pile on Bryce. They have eyes just like any of us. Andy Dalton opening up the entire field changed everything. As for his endorsement of Canales it means a great deal and I love to hear it. Establishing a real culture was the first step. We just have to give our head coach time to grow and learn with his team.
  9. I'll take this 10 times out of 10 over guys just going through the motions like in the past. Canales is establishing a culture. Let's see how they carry this into the upcoming weeks and build on it. There's still work to be done.
  10. Man of the people. Love to see it. So refreshing to have a good oline for a change.
  11. Well at least someone in the sports talk community has some credibility. Good for him.
  12. I appreciate his candor. Need more of this in sports talk and less dumb loudmouths that never own their takes and only double down. Also he just hit the pro tank crowd here with the People's Elbow. You don't build a culture by losing!
  13. Too early to say. But based on what's transpired over the last year it should be plain to see that our approach with any rookie QB should change wholesale. Dalton or another veteran of Canales choosing stays and holds onto the reigns while our next rookie QB learns behind him. No handing anyone the keys to the franchise without earning it.
  14. When he isn't dancing he at least gets a few yards. With this OL playing the way they are there's really no excuse not to get chunk plays more often than not. Hubbard has a ridiculous burst. I'm just waiting to see what the Hubbard/Brooks combo looks like...
  15. Big guys out there putting in work means we are on the right track. Credit to Hunt and credit to Morgan for bringing him and Lewis in. Also credit to Corbett and Moton has been putting in work too. Building something good in Carolina. It's great to see.
  16. Hats off to him. He and Horn played very well. We have some talented scrappy players on this team all they needed was the right coach and QB to unlock their potential.
  17. Agreed. That's a terrible comparison. Look I've been a huge Cam homer before but that Arizona game Cam didn't even do much with his arm it was a show of his still clear physical talent overall. The Miami game that followed was one of the more brutal things I've had to witness as a Panthers fan and slammed the door shut on any doubt about his arm. Comparing Andy Dalton to that at this point is simply unfair.
  18. That gave me chills no lie. We finally got a good one in Carolina.
  19. As well as Dalton played and obviously huge credit to him I'm going with Canales. He had this team fired up and ready to ball out. The whole team looks different. We have something to build on now.
  20. I understand your frustration but it's best to try to not keep living in the past. What's done is done and who isn't here now are gone and moved on too. All that matters is that we get competitive football and build from there. Hopefully Tepper and his wife will fully stay out of decisions that's the biggest question and all that really matters going forward. Let your coach and GM do their jobs!
