  1. We were too busy coddling Bryce Young.
  2. Baker with 3 picks before halftime.
  3. Bold take. You better be right.
  4. As much as it sucks for us as fans to have to watch this team continue to be a laughingstock. Mr and Mrs Tepper unequivocally deserve it. GTFO out of football operations. Nobody needs to see you anywhere. Hire people let them do their jobs and go count your money somewhere.
  5. The 2016 season opener was legal headhunting because the league was sending a message to Cam Newton. Tremble made a mistake but it wasn't malicious. Let's just be honest with one another here as two regular people. The league does not care about player safety. Tremble got fined because they want to knock a bottom feeder team further down a peg or two. That's it. Let's just hope this team can avoid further significant embarrassment tomorrow at home.
  6. The other tweet shows the play from start to finish and the defender absolutely lowers his head regardless of the shoulder before the impact. I appreciate your input and the fact the league office has an official huddle spokesman.
  7. They both lowered their helmet. I'm not absolving Tremble. If there is going to be a fine then fine both. Still I can agree Tommy needs to use better judgment. As much as we can critique him for that there also needs to be some questions for what this coaching staff is doing with the position group.
  8. That's bullshit about Tremble but not remotely surprising given how the league clearly perceives the Panthers. Thanks Mr and Mrs. Tepper. As for the scuffle while I can appreciate the show of emotion why even bother at that point in the game? We had already been stomped and if there were a time to get chippy it wasn't late in the fourth it was when the game was still within reach.
  9. I liked Haynes when he was here. I hope to see him do well. As for Ian Thomas. When him returning to the field is met with a sigh of relief that pretty much says anything that needs to be about the state of our roster. Looks like he'll be comfortably retiring a Panther several years from now at this rate.
  10. Hey! Any day now they're going to get him on that nutrition program we heard so much about last year.
  11. Recent stories from the Panthers social media team the day before the game coming off a blowout loss to the Chicago Bears. Just a baffling lack of awareness.
  12. It wasn't even just DJ though unfortunately. The Bears did whatever they wanted all around. I completely agree with you about our approach to that matchup though. That game should have been circled and put up in the locker room for everyone to see as one we absolutely need to show up big for or at the very least give them a hard fought effort even if we lost. Instead we looked like we could barely be bothered and got smoked by a franchise that has been poorly run for what seems like forever. Just unforgiveable to do that to an already beaten down fanbase. Everyone from the front office to the coaching staff to the roster should be on notice for that showing against the Bears.
  13. Yeah let's just get in the playoffs and go from there. We really need to get that 23 year playoff series win drought off our backs. With what I'm seeing we are building something good that can get us there. Just need the coaching and front office to remain consistent. It looks like we've got the right people.
  14. Obviously Meyer was much worse than Saban and a manchild. I think if you're going to have a list such as this ten isn't enough to drive home the point. Need a top 20. There are some names that deserve to be mentioned. Greg Schiano? There are different levels of bad hires. Obviously the worst will be someone who can't even finish one lone season. But there are others who coached a few seasons and gradually worked their way into all time infamy through their behavior as well as their win/loss record.
  15. In terms of how he treated his players like they were kids and almost got his ass kicked a few times he is comparable to Meyer. Just no off the field foolishness. The shine of his resume at Alabama polishes up his time as Dolphins coach to a degree. People are saying Meyer and completely giving Saban a pass because of recency bias.
  16. Meyer #1 but no Nick Saban anywhere in the list?
  17. In the midst of all this talk of our 2nd round pick. It's interesting that the NFL's leading rusher is an undrafted running back for the 49ers.
  18. Only puts more pressure on Brooks to look really really good when he does finally play regardless of what the circumstances are too. Bad situation all around.
  19. Morgan for me right now is incomplete. Same for Canales and his staff. That's plenty fair. Everything depends on how the season concludes. We need to be trending upward in some areas. If not everyone should be under the microscope. Anywho appreciate the convo. We can just agree to disagree regarding the rest. All good.
  20. If Evero goes so be it he is not someone beyond reproach. I won't be upset about it. I'm simply for applying any criticism evenly. But can you tell me specifically why you are so apprehensive to assign any level of blame to Morgan? Who btw was right beside Fitterer when he was making awful decisions the last few years. Removing Evero only opens the door to a heavier focus on the GM. And makes this place even more undesirable if that's even possible. The Chicago Bears are not known to be a well run franchise and they absolutely dragged us on both sides of the ball. There should be no excuses for Evero Canales or Morgan. That cannot continue.
  21. Morgan "fixed" the OL and we hired an offensive head coach and we are currently 25th in YPG and 29th in PPG. We are simultaneously giving up an historical number of PPG defensively. Again. Cannot have this conversation without tough questions for our GM too.
  22. I love Cam Newton. I do not love all these sports talk shows. IMO it just appeals to the worst aspects of our society. All the same good luck to Cam in his endeavors.
  23. Evero should be facing some level of criticism as he has had significant input in some of the roster management on that side of the ball. At the same time. If we are now going to formally begin "evaluating" Evero we also must follow with doing so for Morgan. It is our first time GM who set the wheels in motion for this defense to be historically bad and undermanned in order to build around our first overall pick. IMO you can't ask for one without the other and if you do then you cannot be taken seriously because the front office absolutely needs to be asked some tough questions too.
