Sounds reasonable in January but when the fall rolls around again and our defense isn't singlehandedly winning us games and our OL is banged up anyways we know how it's gonna go. And to be clear I am very pro drafting OL. The issue is we are just burying ourselves in salary cap to the position group. The FA signings on guards are just not justifiable.

Our offense specifically has started all three seasons of Bryce Young's career so far sucking major balls. Keep the same energy bud.

Yeah that's the other thing the Texans are at least in the game still. We got straight up run off the field from the first play. Bryce was awful. The team was awful. And the people who are piling on Stroud now largely went missing for that week. Same old same old hypocritical buffoonery we've seen before.

All thanks to David Tepper. Almost nobody here even entertained the thought of moving to #1 before he pushed for it so hard and when we heard what we gave up it was a gut punch. We didn't need to do it. And everything we have done since has been about justifying it instead of building out the whole roster.

Ultimately CJ Stroud is a bust it's the Texans problems. Although it must be pointed out they are one of the bottom 5 or so teams in salary cap dedicated to the OL. But the folks doing victory laps dancing on the grave of his career while carrying water for Bryce at every turn cannot be taken seriously. Stroud has played as many games as Bryce Young but he peaked early. He had one of the better rookie seasons in awhile. Bryce Young has played in 46 games and honestly other than one record setting game against the Falcons in a dome has never looked as good as Stroud did as a rookie over the course of a single season. It's always one step forward followed by two steps back. And we are certainly at the crossroads where the days of hitting the reset button every time Bryce has a marginally better performance after shitting the bed entirely the week before because the guy is set to get $26.5 million guaranteed. Perspective is important here.
