LaMelo Ball out for tonight's game against the Pelicans. So far nothing has changed with our two best players availability very early in the season. Sad.

What a pitiful QB room.

Panthers get the day off for Victory Monday
frankw replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
If it works great. But they are just one game removed from getting the doors blown off at home. -
Bryce Young career passing yards per attempt: 5.8 Bryce Young passing yards per game in his third season as a starter: 173.8 Jimmy Clausen career passing yards per attempt: 5.3 Jimmy Clausen average passing yards per game in 2010: 119.8 He's a high end Jimmy Clausen it is what it is man. His yards per play within an offense that relies on others are within the same threshold. You can win some games with him when everything is going right and other moving parts are carrying the burden. But that is not worthy of a #1 pick and you absolutely have to keep looking.

Meow Mix podcast cancels plans to return after players tell them not to

You keep on acting like the police if it makes you feel better bub. We'll be right here like we always have. -
For people like FreeFua and others every single player on the Panthers roster exists solely to eventually be a scapegoat for Bryce Young. You would think this kid was one of the 5 best QB's in the NFL three years in a row and not consistently amongst the worst in many statistical metrics.

That thing was wobbling like someone put a tire on their car and didn't tighten the lug nuts all the way. Wind has nothing to do with it.

Well odds are high it's what Dan Morgan is going to do so you might as well begin preparing now. If you guys think Morgan refused to bring in any legitimate competition for Bryce Young two years in a row because he doesn't believe in him and didn't want to draft him you're in for a rude awakening.

You've been complaining about the huddle nonstop for the last 2 months. Nobody said anything directly to Juan or was bothered by him creating the thread. The subject within was what was addressed. You and you alone were the first one to enter the thread and create a settling scores atmosphere stemming from whatever interactions you had in previous threads from however long ago. Icege has already played out this song and dance of constantly griping about negativity while eagerly being toxic to others. It results in nothing but a yawn and an eye roll.

This is nonsense and you know it. Any time there has been a major trade for this team discussed it's become a conversation encompassing a full picture of our needs and our circumstances including other positions because none of these things just happen in a vacuum and it affects other areas. Furthermore just trading for players to trade for them is what Scott Fitterer did and we see how that worked out. Anything else you're rambling about is just your compulsive need to defend Bryce Young like you birthed him. I do not care that it hurts your feelings. Embrace the conversation that is not going away now or ever as long as he is here or log out.

At this point unless Bryce Young finishes the season playing horrendously bad he's likely back on the 5th year option at the least. This is backed up by the actions of the FO as they have doubled and tripled down. Which is assuredly from the Tepper's. All we can do is hope that this time they will actually push him with real competition.

At the end of the day they created the whole spectacle. Nobody made them make a public announcement for attention declaring they were done after one blowout loss. They could have said absolutely nothing and just taken a week or even a month off and who would have noticed or cared or complained? The Panthers haven't had a winning season since 2017 so if they couldn't handle losses why did they even start a podcast to begin with? The majority of twitter is nothing but attention seeking grifters at every corner. Boring. -
Yeah the margin for error with him at QB is razor thin. Just is what it is.

Bryce Young has now played in 38 career games and some folks are still making excuses and lowering the bar and arguing the jury is still out on him but the same folks are fully throwing a rookie TMac completely under the bus only nine games into his career because he can't haul in every Bryce Young pass many of which are consistently poorly placed. The hypocrisy and inconsistent standards are simply stunning.

He did enough for the team to win using his legs and he had a nice throw to Coker on the final drive. But the rest of the team simply carried him and the opposing defense had absolutely no fear of him as a passer in the final moments. It shouldn't be a controversial or mean summary of the situation. It's reality. If people want to reside outside of reality that is their prerogative but call it what it is.

Sam Darnold has the sheer physical talent to win a Super Bowl. He can make any throw at any moment. His talent is that impressive. But the mental aspect and the pressure of the brightest lights like you said is the key hurdle. In that regard he has something in common with Daniel Jones. Both can wow you and both can turn a game into a nightmare. Just have to see what transpires.

Hurricane Dan put on a masterclass FA signing this offseason
frankw replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we're speaking truthfully he didn't inherit anything he was directly a part of the decision making process that brought us both Young and Dalton. And he has kept the QB room intact aside from third string UDFA and other practice squad level QB's like Hendon Hooker and Mike White. If the owner pushed for it he should be willing to pushback and tell his boss they must do what is best for the team this go around. We cannot repeat that same mistake three years in a row. Such would be unforgivable. -
24 points for Kon against the Jazz in a blowout win. Ace Bailey got himself a poster dunk but that was pretty much it. Credit due to Miles Bridges he's bounced back in a big way we need consistency from veterans like him.
