  1. Yeah he took the numbers conspiracy stuff and got even deeper into that space lasers kind of territory and that was a wrap. But idiot indeed. Sadly there are folks out there like that.
  2. We should do it. So that means it probably won't happen.
  3. All kidding aside I refuse to take it for granted that the refs or the league will be overly concerned about us or our QB. Some folks have already penciled that in as fact. Don't be fooled.
  4. As I recall he revealed himself as a rabid anti-semite so even if he returns we don't need his nonsense.
  5. Yeah it's sad but the insinuation for some is Stroud is lacking intelligence and I think that's nonsense. For both QB's they are obviously great guys great teammates and they have quality football IQ. If Stroud puts in the work he can be just as good as Young and vice versa. I'm just getting to the point of being tired of seeing them pitted against each other. They're actually friends aren't they? It's an unfortunate situation to see CJ's character and draft stock being hit like this. I think it will motivate him more. Good luck to him regardless.
  6. Let's not even joke about this lol. No suspensions please.
  7. Stroud still has a very good chance of being a solid starting QB if he lands in the right spot. The significance of the s2 will eventually fade to some degree as the sample size increases. No single test is a fail safe and a guarantee of success anyway.
  8. Haha like you give a poo just last week you were posting his lowlights.
  9. For all the valid concern over how CJ Stroud has played against Michigan that game against Louisiana Monroe for Bryce Young is the same. That's a low level 4-8 team. Yeah they clocked them by 50 points but they've got Nick Saban and plenty of talent on their end that's what they're supposed to do. Flawed games like that are why we are in the position to draft Young Stroud Richardson or Levis at 1. If BY were flawless Chicago stays put and we hope someone falls. All you can do is hope for the best though because Bryce looks like he's the pick and his intelligence and leadership will hopefully be keys to his development.
  10. What did he say? I'm not paying to read the Charlotte Observer
  11. This is one thing virtually all fans should be able to agree on. And it's what the players want. Make it happen.
  12. Yeah sounds like what we have already known. It's a wrap. I hope BY balls out.
  13. If the Texans aren't offering #12 you hang up the phone.
  14. With as passionate as these defenses have been over the last month or so on behalf of all small framed QB's I am expecting an Eli Manning level streak of consecutive career starts for Bryce Young. Will he miss any games at all? Probably not 🫡
  15. Downplaying the talent at Alabama is laughable at best. And they're coached by an all time great. They beat low level college teams like a drum. Both Stroud and Young had talent around them if you're going to knock one for it keep it consistent.
  16. Did he even take one? Some folks are getting too heavy handed with the s2 give it a few more years and a larger sample size.
  17. We won't know how it went down for some months. But at Stroud's proday Reich and McCown were all over him. Then at Young's proday the Tepper's were quite obviously smitten. There was a gradual shift after that. I can't wait to see the behind the scenes of some of that.
  18. You don't have to like it but there are some parallels between Mayfield and Young. Highly touted heisman winner back to back 40+ touchdown single digit INT seasons with 70% completion and #1 pick. Baker is bigger too. The one key area of difference you can look to is personality. They are polar opposites there and that could be a layer on why Baker has been the bust he has become. In comparison Bryce is very intelligent humble and is beloved by many as a true leader. If he's going to make it that will be a significant reason why.
  19. Rhule was an egomaniac. But I don't buy that Tep is fully hands off. Bringing his wife into the team operations was surprisingly welcomed by many here considering all the things that were said about Richardson having his sons help run the team years ago. Hopefully it shakes out for us alright in the long run. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
  20. Yeah but some or most of that was definitely Rhule. Teddy bruised his ego really bad when he went public with criticism. Darnold was the perfect rebound after because he would never rock the boat.
