Whether or not you feel like this is the real Stroud or he will bounce back the fact of the matter is he was in the MVP conversation as a rookie and when the games actually mattered for their postseason hopes. We need to see Bryce Young have the kind of season Stroud had as a rookie next year for him to make the jump into any top 10 conversations. PFF data does not determine that. Winning games when they still matter does.

That's valid. And to further dive into that the reality is beating up the Cardinals is no more a way to assess whether or not our offense is actually progressing than the definitive win we had against the Raiders earlier in the year. Furthermore the last time we blew out the Cardinals turned out to be a fluke too and coincidentally that game also featured running the ball heavily and was obviously not something that was sustainable. All of the above is why it's best to take the approach of game by game see what you've got and go from there. But next season when the games actually matter for playoff position there should be no more excuses. Plain and simple.

It's hard to ignore how much more efficient the offense looked in Legette's absence. As far as what the future holds for him and opinions on that go it boils down to either you believe he will put in the work or you don't. But I don't blame anyone for being pessimistic given our history with WR's.

Labeling the three QB's who sit atop the passing yardage and passing touchdown charts in the entire history of the NFL as merely ball distributors or game managers to prop up Bryce Young is unnecessary. Let's please stop being ridiculous and just let Bryce play and continue to improve as a starter in this league and go from there.

Guys. Statements like this are why we struggle to have productive conversations about our own QB.

He's gone from one of the worst amongst all qualified passers to the 20-25 range. And we're waiting to see how it carries over into next season. That's all anyone can do.

The Ravens are a Super Bowl contender and a different level from the Texans altogether. We saw this in the playoffs last year. Yes the Texans overachieved last season and they added more pieces in the offseason but they are still a team that is barely 2 years removed from being a single play away from the first overall pick. There's definitely been some overstating of the status of their roster by some folks. As far as CJ Stroud goes it's too early for anyone to say if this is who he will remain and last season was an anomaly but he is having a bad game today against a very good team. All the same if Stroud can look like this after being in the league MVP conversation just a year ago maybe that's an indicator for us to take seeing progress from our own QB with a cautious approach for the time being.

Meh fug the league office now and forever for them letting our QB be headhunted and years later throw a flag if you even touch the QB wrong now.

Chuba has worked his ass off to become the engine of this offense. It cannot be understated how far he has come from his rookie season. Hats off to him. Well deserved and hopefully more to come. It should be noted though as far as split backfield or 2 RB system goes I'd prefer Hubbard get the Lion's share of the carries because clearly he works best as the feature back. That isn't to say we don't need another running back to solidify themselves but when you have a guy playing the way he is not just from a production standpoint but all around putting in work blocking too you want that guy to be on the field more often than not.

At this point we're past coaching. We've seen the same bum ass selfish basketball with now three different head coaches. The culture is dogshit and they might as well just blow up the roster.

Icege has everything to say to everybody today following a win but nada following a really bad game. Some people refer to that as fairweather.

I mean getting bummed over a win and agonizing over draft position is ultimately fruitless anyways considering our draft history the last few years.

He won't because he took the whole week off following the Cowboys game.

People who talk the most about this subject here are dug in one way or another there's no use continuing to drone on about this on repeat heading into the offseason because he is going to be here regardless with another shot in 2025 to solidify himself. In the meantime he had a really good game against a mostly meh team with fringe playoff hopes that even if they got in most likely would have lost the week after getting pummeled by a beat up Cowboys team. Basically we're right back where we started. We've seen the good. We've seen the bad. We've seen the really good. We've seen the really bad. No one no matter how many posts they make can say what his final form will be. We just have to wait and see. And hopefully the front office makes changes to this QB room that will serve to make Bryce even better hopefully. And if not then that sucks but we will have options. That's all that really needs to be said anymore. No need to continue blasting one another.

For whatever my past opinions of Ron Rivera as a head coach might have been he's a great man people respect and he was there for some of our most entertaining seasons. It's good to see him around.

We have a nice foundation in place for whomever will be the future at QB and we will add even more in the coming months. All we can say for sure is Bryce will be here next season competing and that's the only logical answer. Anyone making firm declarations one way or another about him being or not being the answer right now are confusing opinion with fact.

Chuba Hubbard still the MVP

People talking all that poo about the defense they want to win apparently.

I love my Panthers but there is a big difference between most other teams going for it on 4th and 1 and our offense going for it on 4th and 1. The difference between us and the rest of the NFL is the QB sneak is not off the table. And then against our defense of course they're going to convert.

That would be hilarious but I don't think either team will let it come to that.
