We finally have an offense.
-
Gave up way too much he either has it or he doesn't sink or swim this season.
-
35 year old Andy Dalton has over 7 yards per attempt but apparently Miles Sanders being slow is the sole reason our passing game has been the worst it's been in over a decade the first 2 weeks.
-
Fitterer is the worst GM we've had and honestly it isn't close at all. The folks who hyped him up as some guru deserve a swift kick to the jewels.
-
At this point I think Frank Reich could legitimately not survive the season. This is lower than Rhule ball.
-
72 points in 1966 is the record. Hell they better break it now.
-
What's the record?
-
How many times have we even scored 30+ points the last few seasons? CJ almost 300 yards and 2 touchdowns now. Can't even argue the Texans are looking like they had a hell of a draft.
-
I'm weak lol
-
Well so much for the Howell hype
-
It's definitely looking iffy. Still lots of time though. But Bryce Young basically has to play as good or better than Stroud when he comes back. Enough of the excuses. Get back to basics and just play ball.
-
Muh s2 test.
-
There are folks who think the way he is alluding to but they are few and far between since all the losing the last 6 years. They all mostly jumped ship. But calling it a race issue doesn't compute because people who didn't want Young wanted Stroud. And between the two young men only CJ Stroud was the one vilified for wearing a basic chain to an event and not hiding in his house. And also for not attending Peyton Manning's boring ass QB school thing.

This fanbase didn't have patience with Cam Newton or Jake Delhomme our only successful QB's in team history idk why you would think this would be any different. It's the same across the rest of the league. Instant reaction is what makes American sports the big draw it is. Social media only makes each sport more money. Between the two of us ask yourself how much you've evolved since Cam. Only one of us is trying to sell Bryce Young is criticized bc of rednecks when he and Cam Newton could not be more different as men. Honestly it's an insult to Cam for the hate he received to even try to make that connection.

Most people will love just about anyone as long as they're a winner. Even some very flawed human beings who have played and continue to play in the NFL because of the talent they possess not the content of their character. That's all people want at the end of the day. All these "well I'm a better fan because I don't criticize the team" takes are nonsense. If anyone is here after about 30 damn years of no consecutive winning seasons I'm not going to tell them how to react or not to react to more embarrassing moments. We're starting Andy fuging Dalton in the home stadium of one our former arch rivals who already have a Lombardi trophy to hold over our heads while all we have to look back on is an NFC championship rout followed by a Super Bowl loss. Hopefully Bryce Young takes all this to heart and comes back on a mission. Or things could go the other way. I've come to expect either as a Panthers fan. We'll see.

I know you saw the posts. You're still ten years later jumping on anything about Cam but you couldn't find the time for the Stroud hate? It's because you pick and choose just like any other fan. It's called bias. We all have it in some form or another. And furthermore the race angle for Bryce when he played for Alabama of all places and has had enough hicks to fill a country music concert in his corner who were also trashing Stroud and Richardson is hilarious. Enjoy the game today brother!

Yooooo this is the biggest crock of poo I've seen on here in months. It was you and your boys who kept saying CJ was a mental midget and said nothing while his character was attacked.
-
I like Deion. I didn't think they would lose that badly but everyone eventually gets handed an old fashioned ass whooping. Learn from it and use it as motivation.

It's the Hornets even if we make a trade we'll probably end up with the short end of the stick. Mitch is past his expiration date we don't need him making anymore desperation moves anyway. On a side note I guess our boy Kai Jones isn't doing too well and he isn't very bright based on some of the random behavior he's been posting on social media. Typical Hornets foolishness.

How much do you think Tepper influenced "the pick"
frankw replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Young still has plenty of time and he's only 22. But right now present day beyond the obvious issues with our receivers and our coaching staff some of the questions on Young are showing direct correlation to the pre-draft questions regarding his ability to make certain throws. There's just no way someone with an unbiased mind can look at his numbers and not think back to his proday and refusal to throw at the combine. There were red flags like it or not. We overlooked them because we bought into the narrative that Stroud basically has the football IQ of Sam Darnold and Bryce Young had "elite" processing and decision making. Maybe both of those things are still true and will come to fruition in time who knows. Of course one of us could also hit the mega millions lotto tomorrow too but I'm not gonna hold my breath. -

I do agree some people are going overboard. But there's a difference between being critical and just being completely bitter. And at the end of the day no level of boot licking is going to change our front office and ownership from one of the worst to one of the best.

There was plainly obviously a level of steering the team toward Bryce Young. The Tepper's brought us Matt Rhule zero winning seasons Scott Fitterer Teddy Bridgewater Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield. But Dave and his wife are suddenly pro scouts? This always had a high percentage of ending poorly. You let the football minds run the show. You don't turn the process into a sideshow to get your wife a photo op. -
It's the conclusion many people came to when watching his gametape. Well people that weren't immediately yelling "but OSU QB" or "but he has the greatest receivers in the history of college football". The kid has terrific arm talent. He hung in there against Georgia. These were the things we wanted to see. The results are not in for either QB by a longshot. But the very important physical intangibles you either have or you don't.
