Kyle Bailey says Tepper isnt happy, wants changes now.
frankw replied to CPF4LIFE's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's been missing about a month I guess he's not holding up too well with the current results after making this thread back during training camp. -
Well in fairness a good bit of social media sports journalism is bottom of the barrel slop nowadays people taking a stance for clicks and whatnot. Can't blame some folks for looking at some of it in a negative light. And in sports fans will be quick to praise one take while blasting another if it fits their perceived bias. We're all guilty of that it's pretty common behavior now. Let's just hope we begin to see the light soon because the longer this drags out the worse it's going to get for all of us.

I know the OL has been lackluster but I must say even I have been surprised by his lack of speed. One of his early runs I swear he looked like Greg Olsen in his last season rumbling up the field.

Bryce Young has a lot of folks to prove right and a lot of folks to prove wrong. Hopefully he starts pushing the ball downfield and makes defenses respect his arm 🫡

Sure. I just had to get in that haymaker real quick and keep things interesting.

Worse. Former Sam Darnold believer.

Steve Smith told us DJ Moore was his replacement. He left DJ out to dry quick even though that man is 4th in Panthers history in receiving yards behind Greg Olsen with a bunch of bums throwing to him. Now with the early Bryce Young results I must say I'm nearing the point of not needing to hear 89 talk about QB prospects anymore. Not everyone is cut out for it even if they are a former player likely heading to the HOF.

Brice Young - Is there anyimprovement through the first 4 weeks?

Honestly that's pretty fair and very realistic commentary. It will rustle some jimmies here for sure but I can't argue with it unfortunately. -
Panther Shopping for Number 1 caliber WR, Top Priority

It would be very Scott Fitterer to go looking for a #1 WR on the Cardinals roster. Unfortunately I can believe it. -

That guy is a Tepper bootlicker and also thinks CJ Stroud is overrated while being a Bryce Young apologist. Might be a Tepper burner account.

It's in bad taste and crude. But I wish I could call it a lie. Sadly I'm living with the results as a tortured Panthers fan. -
Chubba has played with more of an edge lately. He should get more carries who cares if Miles is paid more.

Misogynist! -
30th in passer rating too. Yet it is creating a virtual knock down drag out fight here to suggest he does not look like a #1 overall pick and has much work to do. If people want to live a fantasy that he's actually doing well then stay off the internet.

They are more the exception to the rule I'd say. The Steelers as much as I despise them and their bandwagon transplant fans here have a track record of success because the right people make the big decisions. The Tepper's are one trainwreck to the next and shouldn't be in charge of a lemonade stand. -
Well hopefully we see it soon my friend.

The misogyny zingers are laughable. Nicole Tepper is to David Tepper what Jerry Richardson's sons were to him here. Zero qualifications and have no business in the front office. Even that curmudgeon realized it was a bad decision and kicked his boys out of the picture. Says a lot about Tepper. -

Nicole Tepper is the Ivanka Trump of the NFL. -
I don't think he has a noodle arm but he does definitely look small and lacks physicality out there the other top 2 QB's have shown in this league. You simply cannot deny that unless you are engaging in self deception. It's up to Bryce to make defensive coordinators and defensive backs believe he can and will beat them deep. Nobody cares about college anymore.
-
I've acknowledged there are multiple problems. Bryce Young however is at the center of those problems. He's got to adjust and play differently and the coaching staff has to put him in that position. But until proven otherwise defenses are simply not going to be scared of his arm. I don't like it. It's really depressing. But that's the rub.
-
Myself and most others did indeed immediately accept him as our QB. That doesn't mean we signed a contract saying we must always be 100% positive and never critical. I think you have an unhealthy infatuation with the guy the same as you did with Cam buddy. But unfortunately unlike Cam Bryce has shown very few flashes of anything to warrant a first overall pick. You simply do not like anyone pointing out difficult to accept realities to you. I think you need your own community where only your approved thoughts are allowed.
-
What cases are you speaking of? That his supporting cast and oline are not performing up to standards and our coaching staff has certainly not lived up to the hype? Absolutely all true. But this offense still looked capable on the road in Seattle with all these circumstances with a 35 year old quarterback. Many things on this team need to improve. Our #1 pick is one of them too. And he needs to start having some success downfield or defenses will continue to tee off on him. Here on the huddle we can erase the bad and live in a bubble. Bryce Young cannot do that out in the real world where defensive coordinators have all the film they need. Unless he and we adjust it will be more of the same.

I don't get why current and former Panthers think this is the move. Yes some of the reaction is over the top because it's the internet. But the track record under this ownership speaks loudly. Like megaphone loud. The criticism has been earned and then some. Mocking your fans is only going to accelerate the decline.
